Daily Reward System

As the subject says, i would like to suggest a daily prize system. For example, For each day you log in, you get a 'lucky draw' where you get to spin a wheel or something. My Objective here is to make players stay in the game longer and have a better time playing SK.

Lets say the prize wheel has these items: Some crowns, lets say in incremental value of 5, 10, 25, 50, 100, 150... and so on. And even more rarely, a piece of armour; maybe a maximum of 3 star gear. Maybe throwing silver keys and lockboxes for good measure. Obviously, armour and lockboxes will be the rarest.

In my opinion, getting crowns in the game is rather hard without the elevator pass. Having this daily reward system allows players to get an extra boost of crowns so that they can get their gear.( This may possibly reduce the number of beggars ) However, the payout must not be too much or players will get too much crowns and ruin the game's economy.

Furthermore, this will encourage players to log in daily to and to stay in game longer and should reduce the number of people quitting SK.( Milage may vary)

Thank you for reading this post. Please leave your CONSTRUCTIVE, opinionated response in the section below.I would love to hear read them and hopefully they will implement this in the game :D

Sounds alright, because I know a lot of energy based games do this. It should cap at something like, 500 crowns a day.
Measly for later players, but alright for beginners. We get free mist, nothing wrong with adding a lil bit of crowns on top of that for dedicated players.

Hm...

This isn't a serious suggestion but I wonder what would happen if there was a larger guaranteed reward, but paid out only when a player's Mist ticks from 0 to 100 in one stretch. Maybe using Hex's 500 Cr. That might provide an incentive for newbies (especially younger ones) to wait out the 22 hours.

@Juances:

If they can implement a tracking system for shared energy, it can be implemented for daily rewards.

That being said, I'm fine with Hex's suggestion (as usual).
No to the rare prizes though, that's just spoiling the market.

Don't we already have a prize

Don't we already have a prize wheel? The one that spins around at the end of every level and gives you crowns, mats or lockboxes?

I don't know if rewarding doing nothing other than logging in is an ideal answer. Besides that, distributing extra crowns to absolutely everyone results in everyone putting more crowns into buying key stuff like energy which bumps the prices up which sends us back to the original issue of people begging for crowns.

A function for this already exists while playing the Clockworks, which encourages players to actually play the game rather than idle. Yes, idling; some may know what this is from TF2.

Good point but how about make it only possible once you complete a certain mission?

"Log in for free stuff"

You are supposed to work to earn profit. This thread suggests obtaining money for merely logging in.

I know I already posted in this thread but I did not appropriately give an answer: this is not TF2 idling, you have to work for your own profit. Not to mention if every player who logs in on a regular day gets ~100Cr each, everyone may have three characters per account, and anyone can make derpbillion alternate accounts; even if it were 10Cr each there would be a notable inflation.

Does anyone want me to write an evaluation explaining why this would be bad for our economy or do the previous few sentences explain?

Well, They can make it only so that the first account witll get the crowns or prizes. They can also implement a 'Only one account' thing where you only get to spin it on one account only. Also, This isnt "log in for free stuff" this idea is to mainly help the new players and give the rest of a players a little boost. Its not a Big boost so it wont really affect the game's economy. I do know where you are coming from though. Thank you :D

Not that simple.

OOO can't monitor whether or not it's the same person using the different accounts without breaching privacy laws or something else I'm not aware of (that, or they just can't do it)

And even if they DID try, different people using the same computer would complain OOO's being unfair to them.

It's not so easy to just say: 'Ohey they can do this to prevent this' when really, they can't. If everything was that simple, there would be no problems with anything.

*make 14 different accounts*
*put SK on USB drive*
*go to library*
*log onto all the comps, log in, roll, log off, unplug USB, repeat*

*trade all crs to main*

???
Profit.

I wont actually do this, btw, just pointing out that it can and probably would be done.

You are just pointing out the same problems as missions.

No

Missions give you some trouble. You have to spend mist on them, then there's the issue of unbinding the freebies if you want them.

A daily reward system will only take time to log in all the free accounts.
