i think there should be an item that changes thee colour, saturation and brightness of the armour, not to a large scale though. what it allows is people to change the colour of thier armour, accessories and (maybe) weapons. the item would me like an accessory that can be changed at any time. it would look similar to this: sorry for bad photoshopping

it could be used to give an armour a slight green shade or make an armour completely one colour.

Eh

It would be too complex.

And armours/weapons will no longer become distinct by their colours. (Depending on intensity, although it's more likely than not to happen if it's to make a difference)

And confused newbs will wonder why the DA they so wanted and finally got is a Yellow instead of that awesome green they saw.

true... but first the thing

true... but first the thing be only to make a slight difference like making it darker. or a different one to just change the colour, coz some people might want armour that is matching their helmet or the other way around. tho it shouldnt be for weapons

I still think it's too complex for the game. Spiral Knights seems more of a simple game IMO.

I won't comment further than that really, so I'll leave it to other posters t contribute more.

We already have personal

We already have personal colours which heavily affects the armour we wear.

Maybe be able to enable personal colours on our weapons?
It could be another UV. "Prismatic" UV.

The issue here is that you

The issue here is that you can't just simply "recolour" a texture. It has to be programmed with a recolourable section. This is quite fiddly.
It's not something you can just do on a mere whim. If you play around with the Spiral Spy files and get an understanding of them, you might be able to suggest a more plausable way of working this.
