Here are my specs:

- Windows Vista 32-bit
- Java 1.6
- Display 1280x800
- 1.73ghz processor (dual core)
- Graphics: 251mb Video Memory. Intel 945GM Express Chipset
- Memory: 2GB

Direct X version: 11
DirectDraw Acceleration: Enabled
Direct3D Acceleration: Enabled
AGP Texture Acceleration: Enabled

When trying to launch, I just get an error message suggesting my computer doesn't meet the minimum requirements. The only thing I can see is the onboard graphics, though the video memory is sufficient and it has 3D acceleration. I know I've run a fair amount of 3D games on this laptop before, so I'm not sure if there's any way to run this one. If it used an .exe file instead of .jar, I could use 3D-Analyze as a work-around... but alas, that's not the case.

You can probably still use

You can probably still use 3d-analyze, you would just have to run the java exe through it.

The game needs OpenGL which

The game needs OpenGL which AFAIK is lacking in Vista by default. You can check with software like GLview by Realtech.
Get the latest GMA 950 driver from the Intel page and try again.

After you solve the OpenGL issue, you can try GMABooster for some additional performance. I haven't tried it myself yet, so be sure to post the results :P
Also, update Java to 1.7 for some more performance.

@Sinkillerj: There's a java

@Sinkillerj: There's a java exe...? Where?

@Creamy-Laville: I thought my drivers were current... but I'll double-check.

UPDATE: Who knew Windows Update would actually be the solution? Before starting the thread, I already went to Intel's website and downloaded their Accelerated Graphics pack thingy that was supposed to handle my drivers and it didn't actually make the game able to launch. Today, I went back and did a Windows Update and hunted down my specific driver in the list (rather than Intel's generic pack) and got the update for that. Doing this made the game perfectly playable. It runs just fine now, even though Intel's website insists that Windows Update drivers do NOT support OpenGL.

Also as for that GMA booster... I tried running it and it just said "Internal Error" and that's about all I could get from that.
