anyway my idea..-first of all, i dont know much about website designs and stuff so- my idea is meant for the forums itself. i really need notifications. how do i know if someone answered this post? its also difficult finding a post you made or a post you commented on. now im not geek squad and i didnt help design facebook so im i cant bring much ideas to the table but i would really like some notifications...please?

You forget that this is Drupal. Drupal is pretty terrible.
Please no spam titles. Anyways, this isn't facebook. I know many forums without notifications. What you often do is use the little search bar in the top right corner. If you put in the exact title of your thread, or very close, you shall find it with ease. Notifications is probably something not even allowed to be implemented with the Drupal Forum format.
I know where you're coming from, but it's not likely going to happen.
