Sup y'all. I've been wondering, which gun would be most effective at 5* An Alchemer or an Antigua? I dont know which gun to upgrade to 5*. I have a Prisma driver and a Silversix.
Alchemers or Antigua line? Which has the better 5*

As a gunner, Alchemers tend to output more damage over a larger area. They are a bit awkward when trying to deal with single targets though.
As a hybrid, the Argent Peacemaker is easier to use as a quick sidearm. Use it to grab aggro, random scratch damage, or for finishing off a target at range. Don't expect the AP to do spectacular damage though.
In my experience, 3 AP shots is roughly equal to 2 Alchemer Shots... Except for the fact that most Alchemer Shots will be hitting multiple targets per shot. Alchemers have a slower rate of fire, but as long as you have more than two or three enemies, it will outpreform the AP.

alchemers vs antiguas
You get dps from alchemers with sustained fire, seeing as you're a gunner and not a swordsman or bomber using a sidearm gun then this shouldn't be a problem. Antiguas aren't bad but they're just more convenient than potent.

Alchemer VS Antigua
Alchemer shots ricochet, so the shots could bounce off one mob, and onto another, lather, rinse, and repeat until the bullet expires.
Antigua shots are very fast, and it has a 6-shot clip. It has the same DPS as an Alchemer, provided that the Alchemer shots don't bounce back onto the mob; That's when the Alchemer's DPS rises dramatically. In retrospect, Antigua isn't that good for a Gunner IMO, seeing as I wanted a Sentenza.
TL:DR Alchemer=Main Gunner weapon
Antigua=Swordie/Bomber Sidearm
By the way, I'm aiming for a shadowsun set, please add that to the equation. thanks!
