So, to put simply, I suggest to make friendly Mecha Knights (Kits, activate with energy) more powerful with each Tier, along with a change of appearance, much like enemy Mecha Knights and vitals.

Make it a bit bulkier too, I've seen my Mecha Knights get taken down mere seconds after being deployed.
But more attack power would be VERY nice, and less charge attacks too. I recall there was a thread where you could "feed" pickups to the Mechaknight, and it'd be interesting to give the Mecha Knight status-inflicting abilities by feeding it a vial. Giving it more health with a Vitapod would be neat, too.
Hold your horses. We don't want to make them able to spam status and deal actual damage. I've had runs where a team can save up about 6 kits by the last depth of the run. I'd rather we not be able to save up kits and then unleash them at a boss or arena and just be able to sit back and watch them roflstomp all the enemies. Feeding them vials and vitapods to make them stronger is a definite NO from me.
BUT: Make 'em stronger by tier, but not by much so there's still zero chance of creating a bunch to do the fighting for you. Less charge spam most definitely since it uselessly knocks everything around without flinching them. Another solution would be to make the charge-hits flinch enemies by default, where in that case the charge spam can stay for all I care :P

I would be happy for a different appearance and DEFINITELY stronger.
