Please add the option to turn trap effects down or off in general so I do not lag constantly when they go off sporadically every 5 seconds etc.
If you need a way to alert someone the trap is going off when the trap effects is toggled off make it glow or something brilliant like that.

... The blink on the trap pad? Yeah, that's your warning.
Would rather just turn the trap effects off. It can blink all it wants when warning of it coming up.When it comes up it can glow or do some stupid sh-tuff other than the actual effect it was meant to. Graphics settings already down, unrender my effects, but cull transients I'll try this but I still would like to see something to turn trap effects off.
Oh, not a way to alert, a way to let someone know that a trap is going by making it glow if they have trap effects turned off/down/etc.etc. My fail wording is fail but you thinking I want a way to know when a trap is starting to go off is even worse I am quite aware of the obvious blink for warning.
What i wanna know, is how you could possibly lag on somthing that barely uses resources. The only thing i can think of is either a bad connection, or someone's running a pentium 2 or 3...

There is already a indicator that trap is gonna turn on, the yellowish blinking.
On the other hand, i saw somewhere here a suggestion for 'even lower' graphic settings, it ended with a joke about how SK turned into text based game.

Just turn down your graphics setting, unrender effects, and cull transients.
