Hey would it be to overpowering to have a 3rd trinket slot option? Also, can we expanded the
craftable trinket catalog by adding a Shield Regeneration trinket.

* I kid you not, if you support this and if it is implemented, your 3rd trinket slot and the shield regeneration trinket are on me.

It would be overpowered to

It would be overpowered to have a 3rd trinket slot.
Do you really want Skolver toothpickers with an additional 18 health?
Skolver toothpickers with an additional 12 health are already really, really annoying.

Now the shield regen trinket... doesn't sound to bad... eh.. i don't really know.
Maybe.

Third? No. Trinket? Maybe.

Yeh, this could work, and it seems mildly original. Shields are currently weird in that there is practically 0 variation from shield to shield. To be honest, I like it better this way.

But a third trinket slot? I don't want to write this argument again....

No to 3rd slot, yes to Shield

No to 3rd slot, yes to Shield Regeneration Increase: Low trinket.

lol think about this

Mad Bomber Set + Elite Boom Module, 2x Penta Heart Pendants = Bomb CTR maximum, Bomb DMG maximum, AND 12 extra HP

+1 for more trinket variation, -1 for more trinket slots

As long as shield regen

As long as shield regen becomes an armor bonus on a piece of armor and a UV.

And no 3rd trinket.

Plate Armor needs a buff

Add "Shield Regeneration Increase: Low" (4% increase to shield regeneration speed) to both the Helm and the Mail in all the Plate sets. And then make it medium (8% increase to shield regeneration speed) for the two 5* versions. That way plate armor will be more of a "tank" armor, and have a total of 16% shield regeneration speed with the full 5* set, at the cost of the attack speed of course.

I mean, the plate lines are underpowered, and the description for the boosted plate mail (and helm) says:
"A suit of Spiral Plate Mail with a supercharged internal power source."
but this supercharged internal power source (which should still be in the heavy plate, ironmight plate, and volcanic plate) doesn't seem to do anything.
(So maybe at 3* plate mail can gain SRI: Low, and at 5* can gain SRI: Medium)

Maybe add it as a low trinket purchaseable from Brinks. (so someone could get max shield regen: 24% increase)

No UV for it though (Shield Regen as a UV pretty much outclasses all the defense type UVs as well as practically being a "Shield Health Increase UV" which is overpowered)

Huh.

I'm with Aemicus on this one. >_>

Anyway I like the idea of a Shield Regeneration trinket, but I don't really like having the third trinket slot or a Shield Regen UV. To put Hexzyle's numbers into a more tangible form, I think shields currently regenerate after 8 seconds. That means each level of the Shield Regen bonus (+4%) will reduce those 8 seconds by a little less than a third of a second, which seems reasonable to me.
In chart form:
None. . . . . 8 sec
Low . . . . . 7.68 sec
Med . . . . . 7.36 sec
High. . . . . 7.04 sec
V High. . . . 6.72 sec
Ultra . . . . 6.40 sec
Max . . . . . 6.08 sec

"I kid you not, if you support this and if it is implemented, your 3rd trinket slot and the shield regeneration trinket are on me."

For a second I thought you were trying to copyright your idea or something. I was ready to punch you in the face before I read it more carefully. If the Shield Regen trinket is implemented, sign me up.

@everyone

Yeah I know you guys are right... I also thought a 3rd trinket slot would be a bit OP, but my OCD is telling me that something needs to be place between the 2nd Trinket slot and the 1st weapons slot in the Character window. The gap there is killing me, perhaps another weapon slot or maybe even a costume slot... I don’t know. However, I admit the Shield Regen Trinket would be badass! More trinket variations would be badass, period! Thanks guys!!

RE:

@Schattentag
I don't know what the OP meant, but I'm thinking not only a decrease in repair time (when the shield is broken) but also when the shield is damaged, it heals to blue faster.

@Berzerkules
Perhaps a shield costume slot that we've been asking for :D

Also...

I would totally LOVE it if we chould hide our shield/make it invisible.
Earlier i decided to take off my shield and was like "Woah, is it just me, or am i a 100% cooler?".
I know it might be a little wierd shielding with our hands, but i see lots of knights taking their shield off in Haven because they think they look better without it. The only reason why i want a Swiftstrike Buckler is because its the smallest, least noticable shield.

Im pretty sure that all 0-1* shields are the same size as the swiftstrike. It also seems that those shields have a better chance of actually being "held" by your knight instead of having an awkward space between them and your hand. I would love a shield costume slot but I would like some more shields even if they have junk stats. Just as long as they look cool :P

Herpity derp

For whatever reason I didn't even think about the actual shield health regeneration rate, but in any case the statistic still seems reasonable.
