I don't know which to get, they both look awesome, and they both apply good status effects.

I need some opinions on this!

Glacius:

Recipe(s): Hall of heroes (Low Price)

Voltedge:

Recipe(s): Krogmo Coins (Price depends on the average coins you earned per PvP match.)

I will add to this later.

(I need help, but I want this to be a thread that other people can see so they can see all of the opinions here.)

I have both, and i used both

I have both, and i used both in FSC.

I find that Voltedge outperforms Glacius (imo). There tends to be a lot of groups of slags in FSC, so if you get a few shocked the AoE damage is huge. Plus you get the interrupt of shock.

On the other hand, Glacius is great if you want a nice crowd control. it freezes pretty reliably, but the damage it causes is a good chunk below Voltedge.

In the end i find: Glacius for lots of crowd control and Voltedge if you want to sacrifice some crowd control for more damage.

Look over your post, at the right, there is a white textbox. Yup, it's really useful. It can help finding answers to a beaten to death subject.

Glacius has one special use

Despite the lower damage compared to other Brandishes (due to enemies not riding the wave), and Shivermist Buster being so much more effective in crowd control, Glacius has one special use - freezing Slag Guards.

You can unleash a charge head-on, and the explosions will go through the guard's shield, reaching its back and freeze it (remember to shield in case it doesn't proc). Then the guard's a sitting duck, waiting for someone's charge attack to turn it into hearts.

@Fradow

I'm also trying to gather more opinions and suggestions for future references.

That way, I'm not only helping myself, but also everyone else who will ask this question in the future.

P.S. Search is terrible at finding things and is very, very slow.

well....

do you have any other weapons, cuz if you have something that deals shock then get glacius and vice versa.

+ it depends, do you enjoy playing LD, cuz if you don't, getting the krogmo coins is going to take a long time and be a real pain.

To give advices about Brandish lines:

Elemental Brandishes similarities:

-Strong to Constructs and Undead families.
-Weak to Gremlins and Beasts families.

Fireburst Brandish lines, mostly up to Combuster, will do the highest damage to monsters with charge attack, even the mobs have fire resists, the blast damages counts x5. If the fire status inflicts, it'll work out more better.

Pros: Highest damage with charge attack + blast damage x5 + fire status inflict(exception of fire monsters), able to push enemies afar with charge's blasts. Weakens ice monsters. Easy to craft.

Cons: Having no crowd controls(stopping monsters) could get ye in trouble while charging attack. Alight fire monsters(oilers).

Iceburst Brandish lines to Glacius, is about stopping enemies with freeze, so ye could easily relax and charge yer weapons to attack and flank monsters from behind. Recommended for rookies and those with no charge reduction unique variants.

Pros: Crowd control(Freeze). Nullifies fire mobs from gaining extra defenses. Deals full damage of charge's blasts against ice monsters. Easy to craft.

Cons: A certain of obstacles not removed(e.g. grim totems) while frozen will frustrate party members(including yerself), also will negatate vortexes, denying process of sucking monsters into one area. Does not deal full damage of charge's blasts. Refreezes ice monsters(jelly cube, blue).

Shockburst Brandish lines to Voltedge, can stop a target moving temporary, and can also deal a minor damage overtime. This will be useful against players as well, shocks interrupts players's actions, including a few monsters.

Pros: Crowd control(Shock). Attack/Movement Interruption(player). Deals full damage of charge's blasts against shock monsters.

Cons: Minor shock damage ticking can cause frozen monsters to be released. May not do full damage of charge's blasts. Power ups shock monsters(quicksilvers). Crafting can be hard due to recipes are only available with Krogmo Coins.

Nightblade lines to Acheron, has no status ailments against, however is a shadow weapon. Some say that Acheron is stronger.

Pros: Able to push enemies afar with charge's blasts. Strong against Jelly and Gremlin families. Deals full damage of charge's blasts to Jelly and Gremlin families. Easy to craft.

Cons: Weak against Fiend and Undead families. Does not inflict any status ailments. Having no crowd controls(stopping monster) could get ye in trouble while charging attack.

Perhaps these can help by deciding which brandish ye would like to use.
