Since SEGA acquired OOO, I have this to say...

I would like to hear an EPIC remix of Sonic CD's Final Fever boss battle music! After all, OOO is part of the SEGA family now, so there's no problem with that, right? I'm sure Harry Mack's great rendition of Final Fever could very well suit for a big epic battle at the Core, determing the fate of the heroic Spiral Knights' lives and hopes of getting off Cradle.

Not wanting to go off-topic about this, but...

I enjoyed the re-release of the game, Sonic CD, yet... I do have to say one little thing about the game. Don't hold this against me, but, I have this opinion in mind... I need to get this off my mind, so, here goes...

SEGA and Sonic Team have left the adventure incomplete once again, just like in the past version! The left the "final battle" at Metallic Madness once again, and I still feel that the adventure's still not completely finished. You see, I've discovered an interesting secret of the game some time ago, and it was an image of the once promised, still assumed, "lost" second zone of the game. And, I read about the planned levels that were going to be intergrated into the game during development, Desert Dazzle, and Final Fever, the real final battle of the game that should have taken place instead of Metallic Madness' third Act. Now, just becuase it is called "lost", doesn't mean it is lost compeltely. They had another chance at finally finishing the adventure, but they didn't just have enough time to do so. They should have at LEAST delayed the game so that they could have more time to finish work on the Zones and be done with it at the last minute. They said that cutting these levels from the original final product was, and I quote, "for the best, since we had a lot of work to do, anyway." Those levels WERE going to be a part of the original product, and will be. In truth, the game was supposed to have nine Zones in total, not seven. Some people think that they left it as it is, becuase they didn't "want" to "deviate the game from it's original form". No intended offense, but I think they only said that to cover up their tracks becuase they just didn't have time to finish said Zones. I don't believe these comments coming from people thinking that past games should not be changed in a future re-release. They think it's impossible to add these levels in. I didn't know how to get the word out, if it did, but I felt like saying it, anyway.

However...

There are three things that SEGA and Sonic Team forgot to mention, though... if they ever forget.

First, they technically reworked the game from the ground up instead of using the past version. It is truly a full-blown remake of the great adventure, NOT a port, right?

Second, they have heard of the modern feature called "title patching", and it's part of the modern games we all know today. That feature allows them to fix the reported issues they've discovered in the game, regardless of which platform they own. SEGA and Sonic Team can do that, and they will.

And third, they do know of another modern feature added to the current games today called DLC, "Downloadable Content". That feature means of adding new content like stages, bosses, all kinds of things, or, in this case for Sonic CD's modern re-release, truly finishing the game like it should have been in the first place, and will be soon enough. If anyone can get SEGA and Sonic Team to squeeze in some time on their hands, then, they will have them granted enough time to finish Desert Dazzle and Final Fever, so we can finally get on with our days without complaining about the game being assumed "completed" just because they didn't have enough time to finish the promised levels and the real final battle.

SEGA and Sonic Team have totally transformed the classic game into a modern game that is allowed to have DLC and title updates. It's never too late to finish the adventure.

I have been a fan of Sonic the Hedgehog for a long time, but no Sonic adventure game shall go incomplete, even if it means past adventures. So, there's still plenty of time to motivate SEGA and Sonic Team, so they can get our requests of finishing Desert Dazzle and Final Fever over with once and for all.

Anyway, I would like to hear Harry Mack's great remix of Final Fever being played at the Core, being that it is the chance to escape the planet and go on to save the many worlds of the universe. Spiral Knights do have a destiny, and we must fulfill it, by any means necessary.

Nobody try to bring me out of it. I am highly determined to see Desert Dazzle and Final Fever finished in the game, so I can finally explore the desert portion of the game and see how the true final fight ended.

Whew! Thanks again for listening, and I appreciate all the work you've done to the game, OOO!

Sorry, guys, but I had to get it out of my heart for a while now

I was stating my opinion of the game. How would some people not know about this? Plus, there's hardly another remix of Final Fever. Does anybody do another Final Fever remix? Not yet. I didn't hear anyone come up with a better remix so far. I just wish SEGA and Sonic Team could finish the two Zones and release them as a DLC pack and be done with it. I didn't know of any other way to inform you of this, but I'm sure many have heard of it by now, so this is what I went with.

pfft, nice FAIL

i completely agree with Tsu, this is spiral knights, not sonic, and ever since SEGA bought OOO, they have been fitting promos for THEIR games in, that have nothing to do with spiral knights at all, (specifically the metal sonic suit and tail's tails.) if you ask me, they should leave the game alone, after all OOO made it, not SEGA. That brings me to my next point, nobody really cares if they have sonic or those other horrible games, in spiral knights, I play spiral knights to play spiral knights, not sonic.

The only promo SEGA had tossed into Spiral Knights was one used to celebrate Sonic CD's anniversary.

And it only had two pieces of armor, and an accessory.

You make it seem like SEGA has tossed in Sonic in every aspect of the game, when there's only one costume set and one accessory.

It's like saying Terraria has Nintendo shoved into their game for having the Heroes Clothes/Plumber's Clothes in it.

If you would listen well...

The first portion of my comments is but only a REMIX REQUEST for Harry Mack to arrange. It's but only a different game song. Can he remix the Final Fever song?

The rest of the comments are my opinon about the re-release of Sonic CD. How was I supposed to let you know about this, if you hadn't bought the game on a different system yet?

Sorry, but it's not like I have the option to split my certain comment sections and relocate them in a different forum section. Who does that?

And, for the record, Alphastevo, I may not have the promo accessories, but you need to know that I'm asking for a REMIX to be heard. It's sort of not what you said in the third section of your comments.

hmm... I just thought I should point out that Alphastevo was talking to Arkate, if you didn't notice, Bernston...

And also, we don't want to know how you feel about Sonic. This is the Suggestions Forum of a game called Spiral Knights and it's not meant for complaints about pararel games, characters or franchises.

My dearest apologies, brave Knights.

I was so caught up in the hype. I don't know what got into me. It was the excitement and frustration that made me do that. Sorry. I still have plenty of ideas for Spiral Knights, though. I just wanted to be thoughtful and supportive. I wasn't completely complaining, though. I just wanted to get the word out of getting SEGA and Sonic Team motivated to finally finish Sonic CD like they should have while they were working on it in the first place. And believe me, no adventure of Sonic should not end without a real final fight. I know. Is there any other way of requesting them to do so? Because I didn't have any idea where or how to do that. Didn't you want to motivate SEGA and Sonic Team to finally complete the two Zones that didn't make it in time? <:[. I would be finally pleased with it if they actually finish the two Zones.

Again, I'm truly sorry about this.

EDIT: Despite my off-topic opinions about Sonic CD, I was simply requesting Harry Mack to do a MUSIC REMIX of Final Fever before my opinion, NOT the actual fight, because I never beaten that on Sonic CD before, not even from the past versions, even though the past versions never got that in the first place. Perhaps the remix could work as an extra track, maybe? I would like to hear his rendition of that music track. Truthfully, anybody didn't even consider recent remixes of Final Fever. Again, sorry for the hype.

Lic-wait what?

What was the point of that one month necro? To ask for someone who worked on SK to do a remix for another game?

In a matter of sense...

Perhaps so. Truthfully, anybody rarely does a new music remix of Final Fever today. I'm sure it's not that difficult to do. Besides, that song in Sonic CD was very awesome to hear! It was sounding like a last epic struggle that determines the fate of a certain planet in disaster after getting so far. As of the moment, I'm sure Sonic CD fans who bought it are continuously requesting SEGA to finish Desert Dazzle and Final Fever and release these Zones as DLC to consoles ever since they've found out about it. After all, DLC is not impossible, and fan demand will bring these Zones to reality for sure, in a matter of the sense of the word "reality", being that they get finally released after so long. No hard feelings, fellow Knights.

EDIT: Just a quick heads-up for fans of the game who want Sonic CD DLC so badly. There's a poll petition that is requesting SEGA to finish Desert Dazzle and Final Fever going on at the SEGA forums right now! If you really want to have Sonic CD a real climactic final boss and a second desert themed Round put in, head on over to the SEGA forums and cast your positive votes to support the petition! There are about dozens of "Yes!" votes so far, and they're still rising and counting! This could be a brand new chance to finally finish Sonic CD like they should have in the first place! Please spread the word to others and start supporting the petition right now! That's all.

All right, I confess. I

All right, I confess. I wanted to hear a Spiral Knights themed varaiton of Sonic CD's Final Fever. It sounded much exciting to me, so I wanted a remix of Final Fever from the composer himself, Harry Mack. I'm sorry. I was so hyped up to see Desert Dazzle and Final Fever finally finished since I heard of it, I got a little carried away. I truly wanted to see those levels made and for Sonic CD to have a real final boss fight instead of Metallic Madness'. The interest of wanting said levels has been slowly dwindling recently. I wanted to show encouragement and support to see these levels finished, but I don't know how to. I only wanted to spread the word and support for Sonic CD's yet to be finished levels among fans of the game. I thought C.W. was working on those levels, but I guess he had other projects eating up his time to do so. I hope he's done with them soon so he can finally finish those levels and I can finally enjoy a true conclusion to Sonic CD. Again, I'm sorry, fellow Knights.
