Right now I'm tired as anything but just wanted to put down some of the ideas that are rattling around in my head. Based off any feedback I get before I post them tomorrow will decide what I finish up first I guess.

New reimage of the heater shield (nothing too fancy just more in line with other shields)
Elemental shadow shield
Carnaval style pvp where you shoot something to make a horse go or a meter fill up
Gunning style pvp with using chromalisks as the guns
Pure elemental dps bomb
T1 LD piercing weapon
Modular shadow lair armour (needs two 4* armours plus variants based off minerals added)

Uh...

Here's some feedback. Don't take it personally, but do take it into consideration.

I can't wait to tear half of these apart - the two PvP game types and the modular armor. They sound ridiculous, gimmicky, and ridiculously gimmicky. I too would like to see a reimage of the Heater Shield, so I look forward to what you'll come up with in that department. The Elemental/Shadow shield might be interesting. Tread carefully with the two weapons - you know as well as I do that balance is key.

You know I like to harp on balance.

Although the weapons shouldn't be too hard. The bomb I can balance vs the DBB or DR if I can work out the mechanic right. The weapon will probably be like a hot edge because although T1 has piercing armour it's only one so I think pure pierce is out.
As for the pvp the carnie one is sorta just a side thing. Maybe a fourth of July minipromo. As for the other one cuz BN is more for bombs and LD is almost all swords I wanted something with a shooting mechanic.
As for the rest right now, just buffalo.

Why does everyone want PvP? No one wants to work as a team, everyone runs around independently, everyone whines about it; make something which requires teamwork or the team loses.

New designs for existing equipment is always nice, unless they derp it up horribly.

Yes, element-shadow shield; this will be helpful for what is to come in my own thread. Proceed.

There was that one thread with the Greaver queen, one of the rewards was a gun with pierce damage at 1*.

Does this mean combining two 4* armors instead of one with the other crafting resources to make a Shadow Lair armor?

For the heater I'm trying my best but I'm working in MS paint. Plus I'm no artist.
Still working on the pvp.
As for the combining yeah, it will need two 4* armours. I think I might pick out one mat to have as the "connecter" but other than that having two 4*s is way more than the mats so I dont think it'll need them. As for the modular variants I was thinking maybe have somewhere between 300-1000 of one or two minerals that you pick to go in. Haven't really decided. But it may be 800 for one max or two 400s for two highs. May have a mineralless version may not.

GIMP, bro

GIMP is great for editing images, and it's free. Check it out. Although if I'm not mistaken, MS Paint has gained a reasonable level of usability in newer versions of Windows (I'm on a Mac, so I tend to care less about these things). Either way, you have no excuse. I'm not an artist and I do fine with GIMP - see the Petrode Protector in my Petrode Pack thread if you want an example of what I've done with GIMP. Alternatively (or additionally), I might just come up with a design for a new Heater Shield myself.

The modular armor still sounds ridiculous and gimmicky; convince me in your finished thread.

Get the player model loaded. (should be already when you open spiralspy)
Go down to weapon. Click the model button. Go up folders until you're in rsrc. Open character. Open npc. Open Monster. Find the chroma folder then choose the model.dat. Voila.
