I was in the FSC the other day, and a slag... grabbed onto me and started gnawing on me. I'm not sure what happened, so I'm hoping someone here has the answer.

I did a few FSC runs before leaving the game ~6 months ago, and since I have been back for the last week, I have done a couple more. Never yet, have I been grabbed on and gnawed at...
Though yes, recently I have seen a few FSC runs on YouTube, where the person is grabbed and gnawed at. Dunno, why it never happened to me, or I'm just plain un/lucky. I thought it was probably a new patch :3

It happens a lot less now since the leap attack was patched, but it still happens occasionally.
This attack has always been broken. I don't see why they can't just remove it all together to avoid all the bugs it (still) has, maybe make a new one from scratch to replace it.

The z0mbie patch a couple of months ago was supposed to remove the grab (wich at that time was bugged) with a plain insta-damage jump.
It still glitchs ocasionally.

But to be fair, one time I saw a Slag Walker at FSC start knawing on a gate for no reason what so ever. It was pretty funny

when a zombie jumped, it wouldnt do dmg, but it could grab you and (this is all before the damage-inflicting jump patch) bite three times, causing damage and not letting you put up your shield (you could still knockback them away with weapons). now thats just a ghost effect, and it doesnt do dmg anymore, although u cant put up ur shield. it used to be a zombie's strongest attack, and it still counts as one on the wiki page for them, under the name ''bite'': http://wiki.spiralknights.com/Zombie

If a Zombie lands on you after Jumping, it will Latch onto you & Gnaw. Zombies have been able to do this since the Beginning.
