New bosses, the lost packs

So i've been thinking about the next boss release, (if any) that we stumble across a lost pack of vog cubs or tortadrones deep in the clockworks that are attempting to rebuild their numbers.

There would also be a return of these two into normal levels, with the rarity of mewkats or impostocubes, untill you reach the lost pack.

Oh, come on

Surely you are aware that we of the Suggestions Forum generally appreciate much more detail than what you've provided. What you're saying is essentially this:

"I think it would be cool if there was boss stratum about Vog Cubs and Tortodrones because we have Vog Cub Coats/Caps and Stone Tortoise shields."

As I said in another thread, I could just as easily say I think it would be cool if there was a set of levels about Jesus, since we have angelic mail/helms.

Questions that come to mind, obviously, include:
What will Jesus levels look like?
What would Jesus do?

Please provide me with some basic details and then I'll give you a decent response.

Well i can't map out the entire mission, thats no fun then. But i would love to see a burning forest level, or one burnt to ashes. The boss for vog, a 3 stage cerebrus style boss, stage one would be the bite and claw stage, you'll be chased around. To get the boss to be damagable, it needs to bite itself, or hit maybe a few traps that a knight runs under. Stage two will be a rush phase, he will summon other vogs to fight with him. Again, he needs to hurt himself. The third stage will be the fire wave, he will dash at intervalls and leave a temporary stream of fire. This whole time he can take damage whenever, but is buffed in defense and resistance to pierce.

Hoping cerebrus will be a combo of beats and fiend, but resistant to piercing.

The tortadrone boss will be similar to the aurora isles in terms of level, but with a night time theme. The torta boss will have 6 stages, and hopefully much harder than vana. Stage one will be the earthquake phase, he will sit out of range and shake the room. This causes rocks to jut out at random.

The room will have a series of switches, that need to be hit in a certain order. Once they are hit in the right order, the next earthquake will cause the walls (which shift once the right sequence is pressed) to collapse on the boss, and releasing him into the room. The second phase he will make use of the rocks in the room, tossing them about. To damage him, you need to play a game of reflexes, and shield the rocks, this will cause the rock to bounce off, and be thrown back. You need to hit him with these.

The third stage you need to start running, the boss will enter his shell and start rolling towards players, similar to the snarbies burrow. He will pop out when he stops, and thats when you strike. But be quick, he'll hide again and roll. Once you damage him enough his shell will crack off, this gives him a massive asi, and he will start tossing rocks again much faster. Once you bounce them back enough, he will go down, and cutscene. He will then flee. You must chase him down. He will cause earthquakes constantly, stoping to do this. You must strike at these times, but beware, he will also bite now. Add up the damage, and he will flee again, this time rocks will tumble from all directions. Underground, sky, and thrown. Make your way to him through a maze of rocks, tossing them back. They won't damage now, only stun. You must get close to finish it.

There are some old vids about Torto and Vog Cubs on Youtube, and the trailer even has a snippet of a Vog Cub (read: Giant flaming wolver).

Rehashing old content, heck, at the state SK is in right now wouldn't be a bad idea.

And screw you for crapping all over an idea and asking for more. It's an idea, not a presentation. ooo is expected to build off of the idea if they like it. If i add my own, then i would know all about the missions when they come out.

This was an idea for OOO to read and consider for themselves, somthing they build, not us.

Not sure why you guys are at

Not sure why you guys are at it yet again; for the most part this is a good suggestion. We need more rare enemies and it's clear he actually put time into this.

I can understand shooting down ideas that have little to no thought in them but this is past the line- even if people put effort in they can't make the very best godlike wall of text suggestions. Even without an award winning essay post, this is a fairly good idea that isn't requesting something game-killing, just a possible scenario for new content. I'm not sure where it's been established that this is always the best way to deal with suggestions you don't agree with after seeing some of your great posts... but it's making me sick.

Would write a bit better and with more detail myself but I'm on an iPhone...

I'm not sure why you're all taking my initial response as something bad; all I asked was for more information. Maybe the way by which I asked seemed offensive somehow, but I assure you I meant no harm. For the record though, it is my personal belief that the things posted here should have enough detail for others to understand and discuss. This is a forum, a place where ideas are to be fleshed out through dialogue. In my opinion, if OOO didn't care to receive from the community ideas that were fleshed out as such, they would not have provided us with a forum for suggestions, but instead a suggestion box. Seeing as such a box was in fact removed, I feel like OOO got tired of seeing suggestions that did not contain a usable amount of content. Furthermore, if OOO was able to so simply come up with content from such vague suggestions, a suggestions forum/box would seem superfluous.

Damienfoxy was indeed able to provide more information that I haven't had the time to properly respond to, but by which I am more satisfied. I will respond in due time; I have classes to attend shortly.

Alright, fine, I was pretty quick to jump to conclusions... It just feels like your initial reply was overly harsh. Even so, I apparently came to an incorrect idea, that Luguiru meant the thread as a whole as opposed to just one comment. (ie shooting down the entire idea. /me is stupid)

With that aside, I think that although ideas with more detail are more useful to the devs, even small things that just bring up an idea can be helpful in the right circumstances. I understood this before you explained; this really just ended as 1+1=3. Misinterpretation. Sorry.

Typing on iPhones gets annoying.

The majority of my post are from my phone. I don't get off work untill midnight, then i log in for about three hours.

And my phone is crap. A cheap 40$ pay as you go, with a J2ME platform.
