I've been working on a set of gear to get my Troika line sword to MAX! CTR.
Upon encountering some monsters which interrupted me, mid charge-swing, I think it may be worth it try for MAX ASI on my sword.
So:
Which should I go for?
Do I just need to spend time to get used to the Charge attack?
Sudaruska --> CTR
Triglav --> ASI
ASI is welcome for both swords, but since Suda's effect only comes from charge, it's way more fun shotgunning with its charge attack.
On top of the charge attack, Triglav's second slash has a chance of freezing. which naturally encourages you to have ASI when using it.
Troika attacks by themselves are pretty bad, you'd need at least Ultra damage to consistently stagger everything. If you can get that, go for ASI.
Otherwise, CTR's pretty handy.
Well, if everything goes as planned, my Troika will end up like this:
Sudaruska
CTR: Very High
ASI: Very High
DB: High
These would come from
Sudaruska
Standard CTR: Med
UV - CTR: Low
Chaos Cowl
Standard CTR: Low
Standard DB: Low
Dark Thorn Shield
Standard DB: Low
Elite Quick Strike Module (x2)
Standard ASI: Med (x2)
How does this look, considering I'd also have a Shiver with CTR: Ultra & DB: Low, Graviton CTR: Ultra & DB: Low, and Supernova CTR: High & DB: Low.

That's pretty similar to my own Suda loadout:
Chaos set (CTR:med, DB:med)
Swiftstrike Buckler (ASI high)
Elite Slash Module x2 (DB: v.high)
Sudaruska (CTR:med)
Electron Vortex
All in all, the Sudaruska will have DB:Maximum, ASI: High, CTR: Maximum.
If you can, get electron vortex because the shock from the explosion can sometimes eat the knockback from your charge, letting you use two successive charges on the same group of monsters.
CTR
Its the only real reason to use a troika line over a sealed line... and even then.

Get a UV ASI Medium. Wear full Vog. Then get two Elite Sword Focus modules. When your sword hits Heat Level 10, you'll be maxed out.
As a bonus, get BTS for Damage Bonus: Medium.
I think that ASI is more useful on this sword since it makes an otherwise intolerably slow sword more tolerable. But the charge attacks are so sweet, would be a shame to miss out on that sweet Max CTR action.
