Right now i have a crystal bomb and im thinking of upgrading it to RSS. Is it good in lockdown?

It's fun to use. You can keep running around and spamming them and snipe down your enemies. It's more of a trolling weapon than damage (sorta like the Trollaris line), but awesome to use nonetheless. :D and the projectiles actually go through the enemy's base forcefield if you place the bomb directly next to the force field.

Hard to hit, doesn't feel like you are doing a lot of damage, but if you get lucky you can kill a Skolver Guard with Penta Heart Trinkets in three shards.

It is a favorite bomb for people to gripe about being OverPowered. And then they eat me with a Gran Faust, pummel me with a super charged Valiance, Shock me to death with a Polaris, and stab me with a Final Flourish, so I say, Amen for an OP Bomb!
Whoever said it is no good for damage hasn't used it enough. I kill slower than I would like with it, that's for sure. But I've dropped plenty of opponents with it. My average damage is 4k-6k, but I've gotten 12k, and watched someone get 20k with nothing but RSS. It does plenty enough damage!
If two or more people are using it at once, it wreaks havoc upon the opponents, because while dodging one RSS is not really that hard if you know what you're doing, two gets hard to predict, and three is dang nasty, especially if you are zipping around trying to stab the bombers.

Bombastic + Recon / Mad Bomber + 2 ctr trinks + Striker + RSS spam = huge annoyance in T3 LD with it's insane damage per shard and hard to dodge whenwolverlineclonesareeverywhere.
And Aquajag, there's a particular "exploit" where standing directly on top of the RSS bomb (with a little luck) makes all shards pass you with no damage whatsoever taken. Happened to me before :3
