Lockdown might still have swords in it, but that also accepts bombs and guns, which isn't exactly my style. There should be a PvP mode where you have a small stage that you can duke it out with your opponents by only using swords. This should include shields, but no power-ups like the recon, guardian, and striker. You should also be able to use trinkets and charge attacks. Your armor's bonus effects you wear should also be allowed (which I should also mention that having costumes on to confuse your opponent should be allowed as well). Shield bouncing would be either gimmicky or cheap, so that should not be allowed. There should also be a practice area so you can practice your techniques before fighting your opponent. That just sounds like a good idea to me. If anyone agrees or disagrees with me, reply your opinion so I can see how good of an idea this is.
PvP Mode: Sword Fight
This would be somewhat pointless, because even though I used to support it a while back, I've thought about it more and realized how hard it would be to make work.
First off, you'd need an insane amount of HP to keep the battle going longer than three seconds. It'd be like superbrawl, where the guy with the fastest GF wins. You'd either be cheap-killing them with ranged charge attacks or attack spamming them to death.
It'd be a pretty rage-filled game IMO.
And the fact that it neglects non sword users completely.
In case some weirdo says BN is about bombers (wich isnt!), at least that mode gives out predefined equipment.
it would be a fun match if i was taken down by a charged troika smash on point, but i doubt this competition would be much about swords then about about what type of uv equipped as said above.
it would be funny if i could watch the guy that is about to lose run for his life though, wish their was an animation where the knight who wins have an evil. guahauhauhauhbuaubah. or something.
anyway back to the topic, it would not be balanced with the way the weapons are now. if you recreate the way they fight wit their swords and balance it out, yes, but otherwise no.
