map design flaw?

now dont get me wrong

this level is amazing. it favors recons. i get more damage as a recon and cap more points as one, but that's just me. i am all about variety.

there's just one thing...

forgive my comment... i felt really bad for the opposing team. i know the option would be to gun and push their way through, but could there perhaps be more exits added? or maybe exits on other sides like for furnace and reactor - just give the team more of an option to break through the bomb barrier holding them back.

You can do that on any map with a pair of 2 bombers. Or just 1 tahts fast.
This map only exagerates the issue, but tehre's nothign wrong. Just a bad team taht doesnt knwo how to counter.

yeah!

when we are entering the field, it would be cooler in my opinion is the entrance to the opposing team was cloaked. so that when they enter, they do not have to be worried about getting attacked from the get go. this way they can get attacked while attempting to capture or to kill another opposing player. having the entrance know and attacked is just gonna make it that much harder for the opposing team to stage a counter attack.

- if the entrance that is cloaked is found out and is monitored, then they can start to bomb the entrance zone. but that means that the team will have to work together and communicate so that they can hold off the opposing team. the cloaked entrance will make it more like you are entering into unknown territory instead of this clear head to head combat style. a battle should be more like unknown territory then a clear way of knowing where the enemy is and where to attack.

All LD maps should have at least 4 segments worth of forcefields. They broke that rule in these new maps.

i didn't know that, wow. so players can forcefully break rules. that sucks.
