I know the new Danger Missions will be along eventually, but while we're looking at adding new content to the mission system, it would also be nice to change up the daily grind for prestige points.
My thought is to implement the random chance for some kind of 'special mission' to break up the standard cycle of prestige missions. In keeping with the random chance of said missions appearing, the rewards would have to be scaled accordingly--off the top of my head, I'm thinking of missions that would somehow tie into the existing bosses, and reward a single boss token in addition to the regular cr/mats/heat payout, but perhaps others can add more ideas for possible content. The mechanics of the mission system already in place would prevent players from farming said special missions for tokens or other rewards.
I'm assuming we'll eventually have actual rewards (besides badges) to go with the prestige system, but until then there's just not much motivation for players to continue grinding the same cycle of levels--this would at least give us something to look forward to until other rewards come along.

what about a range of different prestige mission per day? Let's say 3. No, I'm not saying there will be 3 different prestige missions per day that the player can play. There will be 3 TO CHOOSE FROM. And they can only complete one the the rest will be closed off. And maybe a special arena mission? though i guess the danger missions will be around that level.
that does sound okay, but i think most people will go straight for the dangerous mission. the dangerous mission should give put more prestige then the normal not so dangerous one. as long as the dangerous one is apropriate with lost of traps, lots of monsters pressuring the player every second his there and a small puzzle at the end. i dont think it would be bad. then players who go for the dangerous mision have a risk of spending lots of ce and the amount of pretige given may not be worth the amount of ce used to rev. then yeah, it would be really nice to have that.
that is a good idea, instead of having the same cycle of prestige missions, there should be a special prestige assigned randomly to each individual players. the random prestige rate should be assigned by the amount of prestige mission performed in a month. if the player completes 10 prestige missions, the rate that you might get it rises to 25%. if completes 15, the rate rises to 35%. the rate increase decreases as the player does more prestige missions. so the player has to do more prestige missions for the rate to continue increase. the maximum increase should be 55% to 75% so the players who try their best hopefully get good results. all this formula needs is some balance that is set to the maximum amount of prestige missions that can be performed in a month and how fast the increase in rate for each mission performed.
