I haven't been playing SK for a while now, and I'm looking to dump some of the CE I saved up before I quit to get some Diablo 3 gold (which is now my current passion). My current rate is 15k D3 gold to 100 CE. Post a reply if you're interested.
WTB Diablo 3 Gold for CE
Ah I see, Sorry then.
Thanks rommil
I'm interested, not sure how much gold I have right now but I believe its about 115.000
So how do we do this? :)
Where is this against the ToS? The only thing I can see is in section 7.8 of the ToS found on the Wiki that states that you're not supposed to sell anything SK-related for real money, which I'm not. This is something that is akin to Steam trading, save for one game is made by Blizzard and therefore not available to trade on Steam. What issue do you see Rommil? Cause honestly, I'd hate to do anything that gets anyone in trouble...
@Dennixww: Imma put this on hold for a sec until I see what Rommil's talking about. Don't want anyone's account banned for something like Terms of Service violation.
Ah I see, that would be very bad indeed.
Well when we get the OK from OOO please add me in SK. :)
OOO wouldnt want to have anything to do with it, because if you get scammed, they dont want you whining to them.
Similarly, they wouldnt want nubs whining at the community in general either.
While you are right it may not be explictitly written in the ToS, i would expect that what rommil is referring to is that in IP (intellectual property) law in general, if you recieve 'consideration' in any form (ie something in return) through the use of that IP, then the owner of the IP has legal rights over part (or all) of that consideration. Hence why trading for real money is not allowed, as the IP owner technically owns that money.
In this case the diablo money belongs to blizzard, and the SK crowns belong to OOO. If a trade were to occur, both blizzard and OOO have not agreed to it therefore it is stealing from both of them at once. No 'trading rate' has been agreed to by both parties.
In steam trading, the IP owners, OOO and other games companies have agreed that the trading rate can be specified by the consumers, as long as they trade within the steam trading platform.
so, unfortunately, legally this is not the same as steam trading, as in this case you need BOTH OOO, and Blizzards approval to trade, and that isnt going to happen. Both OOO and Blizzard would be allowed to ban you for this. I think its over the top personally, and i think as OOO has shown with steam trading, they wouldnt care, however they cannot speak for blizzard.
edit: sorry
