I've been thinking about this for a little while now... Wouldn't it be at least a little bit helpful for those of us who don't like having to pay immense amounts of crowns to get CE when we don't like paying real money if we had another way to at least store energy, have more than 100 mist at a time in a way?
My idea is this: An energy bank. You pay a crown fee, and deposit some or all of your mist into the bank. No CE, just mist. It cannot be done mid-clockworks or mission, and cannot be drawn from in the middle of a run, and when you withdraw it, it could either stay as mist or become CE(at a certain ratio, having become compressed. Maybe 1 CE per 100 mist, or 1 CE per 500 mist? Up to three rings on that one. What this could be used for, you might wonder... Well, it could be used for guild runs, maybe have a guild mist bank and you use it to prepare for big guild clockworks runs or boss runs? Or, for the CE conversion, it could be used to gradually and cheaply get enough energy to craft gear? It would have drawbacks, and would not be a permanent replacement to the CE market, but it would be useful if you want to preserve energy for crafting or extra runs. It would just take more time.
Add onto this idea as you will, I'd prefer if you didn't say anything negative though. It's a good idea, just needs some refinement. This game relies on energy too heavily, and there needs to be alternatives of getting it, or at least having more of it stocked up over time.
This has been discussed many times in the past and defeated because it essentially means getting crystal out of mist. CE is supposed to either come from Three Rings by purchase or other players who purchased it, not generated by the community; do you want more inflation?
"we don't like paying real money"
Either buy it from other players or not have it at all.
"have more than 100 mist at a time"
This is what almost all of the trolling responses you will get are going to be based on.
"I'd prefer if you didn't say anything negative though"
Do not post in this forum if you even think of asking this.
"It's a good idea"
No, it is selfish and makes Three Rings lose money so players can get CE from their free mist without doing anything; the point is to either play the Clockworks or craft, not get free money out of it for nothing.
