What if we could wager crowns on certain possible achievements in a level? For example, time it takes to do level or no deaths. The odds would shift based on the tier of the level, type of level, and current gear. It's basically what people are asking for with harder levels but without implementing a whole new level system, just a small wager system.
Probably a bad idea, but.......

I dont really understand it.
We have access to too much information to guess the results, there's a minimun risk of losing unless you blindly try it.
For example, i can play a level a couple of times to know my average time is about lets say 2 minutes, then bet I can complete it in 3.
I'll surely win again and again and again.

Doesn't the system already
Doesn't the system already work like this?
With limited damage/deaths you won't waste energy on revives.
With good speed you'll make more money per time unit.
With good tactics you won't spend money on paying for capsules.
Any way of increasing difficulty that pumps more crowns into the game is a bad idea, as it would cause CE prices to rise even more than they already have. A variation of this idea without crown wagering could work, though.
