For some reason I thought this was changed in a past patch, and I know there have been threads asking for this before.

I was certain that I saw this in the patch notes before, and it was irritating the last time my pass ran out and I used a bunch of CE without realizing I had to renew my pass.

Yet again, I logged on, used my ME for the day, and started playing levels, only to notice I'd been using CE for hours before I realized that it had expired.

I used nearly 100 CE when I would have readily renewed my pass, or just logged off to do something else if I'd known my pass had expired.

Please put a notification like the trinket and weapon slot upgrades get for elevator pass expiration!

Even though when you go to the elevator the button to go down says 10E instead of 0E, it is inconvenient to only find out your pass has expired when you need to use it at that exact moment and you only have ten seconds before it uses the energy to go down anyway.

Not even that.Going from the

Not even that.

Going from the mission menu, it doesn't indicate cost at all to enter a level, nor does it tell you if you are responding to an invitation from another player whether or not it'll cost you (nor how much) to accept the invitation. Energy aside, since the mission update, many newer players probably don't even know that it is costing them 200 or 500 crowns to jump to a tier in the arcade that they haven't already played up to in a gate. The menu starting from the arcade shows those and the mission one does not even warn you.

Time was you always had to start from a gate, but now gates are mainly just a transition between levels.

That said, after a month of not looking at the number above an elevator, the 10 and 0 don't look much different.

If other "usable" items in the arsenal didn't give a pop-up notification it wouldn't even be something people would expect, but the pass is the only one that doesn't go "hey! I ran out! Renew me! Hey! Hey!"

I generally disagree with the (too popular) sentiment on the forums that there is little consideration for dedicated, loyal, or just paying players. In this case, I do somewhat feel that not warning us that our Elevator Pass (which is essentially a subscription) has expired or even prompting us with an advertisement to buy a new one is a huge design flaw and still not having it after all of this time kinda indicates a lack of concern for those who've paid for it.

Monthly bump

This is still frustrating and hard to remember after a month.

And you'd think that if you bought one, you'd be inclined to buy another. The system could mail you 24h before it expires, and even 1h till it expires.

outside of buying 1 every 30 days, I'm surprised that OOO hasn't thought of the reoccurring elevator pass project. You setup an elevator pass to be auto purchased each month, option to cancel early to prevent another charge. (charge would be done 1 day before it expires, with an email sent a week advanced to remind you of said charge.)
