So I've got myself a Seraphic Armor. However, I'm irked by the fire weakness and the fact it looks like a dress.

I've got the crowns and energy to switch to another armor line. Which one should I switch to?

-Cobalt

-Wolver

-Magic

-Chroma

-Jelly

-Plate

-Skelly

-Other

Please give help!

Depends really

What's your play style? If you're a swordie, get the Wolver line. If you're a gunner, get the gunslinger line. If you're a demo, get the Demo line. Unless you're a guy, Seraphic Armor looks pretty HAWT (It's an armor for chicks). Wolver looks really good with any helmet, plus it's the most OP set in the game, so it's definitely worth the investment.

The wolver looks like furry

I don't like the perception of furries, and the wolver looks like a furry.\

I got the Dusker, gonna make AshTail, what should i do?

Go Skolver

Skolver matches Seraphic mail, though no fire resist. Otherwise, get the Snarby coat or Vog. I would really recommend Wolver, though I'm not one.

It really depends on your

It really depends on your play style: Swordie, gunner, bomber, hybrid, etc. (plz give your loadout!)
(Also: I will be referring to the 5* versions of these lines) - and excluding shadow lairs stuff

Cobalt: No; skolver is the same with damage bonus (swords)
Wolver: For swordies; it's overused since it is good. (for heavy swords go vog, for med/ fast swords go skolver)
Magic: -Chaos is for those who use a CTR oriented loadout; not the best if you are inexperienced and easily die.
-Grey Feather: Good for FSC, lacks offensive bonuses; vog is better if you use swords.
-Divine: Good for fiends. Makes a good hybrid loadut with a piece of skolver. No normal defense makes using the full set dangerous.
Chroma: Bonus on jellies. Volc salamander works in FSC, but again, vog is better. Virulisk's only major plus is that it's great for Royal Jelly Palace if you use a mix of weapons, but otherwise is not as useful elsewhere.
Jelly: Sleep resistance is useless, and other lines have better piercing defense.
Plate: Attack speed decrease is bad especially for slower weapons. Plate 5* versions are beat by wolver 5* versions due to their offensive bonuses.
Skelly: A solid shadow armor; it looks like only Snarby can rival it, but you probably won't use that as your first set ;)

-others-

(Dragon) Scale: Looks cool, but has no normal defense, which is dangerous. Good against beasts.
Gunner gear: Options of Deadshot, Nameless, Shadowsun, or Justifier sets. If you choose to use one of these, ask on the forums for which to use.
Bomber gear: Options of Bombastic, Mad Bomber, Volcanic Demo; again, if you are using these ask forums for best option.

Conclusion: None of these are really viable as a full set (except for gunner, bomber, and wolver armors). The reason is that many of the above are either too niche (and only have one specialty damage bonus) or are outdone by the wolver lines (a damage bonus > no damage bonus)

The solution? Mix n' match them for a hybrid set that works well; that ways you can cover multiple defenses and some damage bonuses too.
A popular hybrid set is divine veil and skolver coat. One I use is dragon scale helm and skolver coat.

TL:DR (it makes me sad if you have to use this...)
Make a hybrid set
OR
Wolver for swords
Gunner gear for guns (duh)
Bomber gear for bombs (^)

Please post your weapons/ play style.

Zephyrgon beat my wall of text...

Like above said, I use dragon scale helm and skolver coat. Works fine in FSC (as long as you can adapt to avoid fire).

And the alternative to the "girly" seraphic; HEAVENLY IRON. It looks boss.

move to Arsenal forum

Please move this thread to the Arsenal forum.

And tell us whether you prefer swords, guns, or bombs, or a mix (and which mix exactly, and preferably exactly which weapons, including how many weapon slots you use).

Hold on a sec.

Same as Garlicveggie.
If you don't like the way it looks, Why not use a costume armour?
If it's the fire weakness, use trinkets.
