Bounty Hunts - You search for the needed item or you must defeat a certain monster and in exchange you get prizes like crowns and items
Bounty Hunts
Mmm, My Monster Hunter senses are tingling...
Honestly, If they were going to do this, they are going to need some new monsters, armors, rewards, materials, etc.
At this moment, The SK team is working on other things.
Another thing they would need to do is limit the amount of times you can do it a day, just like that Cake Prestige mission for the anniversary.
People would be doing high paying missions that have next to no difficulty and make tons of profit off it. (I personally think that maybe this'll could good, maybe people will buy more CE via crowns and sink the price. But I HIGHLY doubt it. People didn't do it when FSC gave 12k payouts...)
Besides the fact that people would farm it, you can't just go around and hunting monsters over and over.
Think of the population. D:
What if you get prestige for turning in certain items or minerals? What if they were available through the mission system on a daily basis?
On a non-sarcastic note, this would depend on what it asks you to obtain; if it were a regular material then depending on what the material is and what floor(s) you are doing could give an approximate predetermined failure or success to the bounty. If it asks you to get a common material which almost always drops from enemies which you are about to fight several dozen of the bounty would be too easy. If the bounty were a rare material which has a low drop rate in the floor(s) to do then it would simply reward fortune with more fortune. If it asks for something which never even drops from anything in the area it would be useless.
Assuming the bounty is a somewhat rare item (a higher rank material) of the floor(s) about to be completed, giving money and/or materials and/or equipment would spoil the economic appetite; if it gives tokens for a new reward system of untradable items then it would force anyone who wants these new items to complete floors instead of buying their way in while at the same time encouraging all users to do floors for rewards.
