For once I agree with you, Asuka. Way too few people even know about the wiki, even less actually read it.
And this scenario room is by far the most common one. Was this your first time in the actual clockworks?
That's one of a handful of special set pieces called scenario rooms that randomly and rarely appear in clockworks levels. That one in particular comes in several forms; each one displays a monster and the mineral types that will create the corresponding theme in the gate construction process.
