Tenebris (4* Bomb)
I was thinking to have a 2 stages explosion bomb. This idea came from the gun of the Alchemer line This bomb will be very similar to the Radiant Sun Shards, but instead of shooting out 8 shards this will first detonate like a blast bomb(having the blast radius of the big angry bomb) then shoots out shards in 6 different directions instead of 8 like the Radiant Sun Shard. This will deal pure Shadow damage.

2-2-2 explosions?

MMmmmmmhm... I hate reacting like that, b-but... ain't that a bit overpowered? Seerusly. Despite being not 5*, it would outclass basically every other 4* bomb in terms of damage and crowd control.
Anyway, the shards having pure shadow damage makes them impractical against devilites, the most common shard target...

I shard undeads, fiends, and

I shard undeads, fiends, and constructs. I would actually not shard devilites, and instead use dbb on them.

Back on topic, it does seem a bit too strong. Perhaps give more details.

Whether the damage is overpowered depends on if the damage is overpowered.

@Luguiru

Look at the first line of OP. Says 4*. 4* obviously does a fair deal of damage. The jump from 3* to 4* is pretty big and the jump from 4* to 5* is a bit smaller.

Star rank does not necessarily mean a lot of damage. Dark Retribution. After the nerf.

Combining the mechanics of two distinctly different bombs is a cheap way to create something new. It also risks outclassing its parent mechanics depending on its damage rates, which means unless the damage is incredibly low it would be overpowered. Lowering characteristics contributes to the possibility of being a viable idea, but since six is not significantly less than eight and it combines two fairly easy mechanics to use its abilities had best be crippled before being allowed to roll around.

The first part of the mechanic is an imiatation of Big Angry, without the significant damage or knockback. At 5* this alone would be decently powerful, but since we do not have damage rates to identify values whether the first part is two or three spaces in radius is undefinable. It will most likely be two.

The second part is firing several projectiles as shard bombs do. The main issue with this is, yet again, damage; it can still have multiple impacts. To counter this, retain some knockback to prevent multi-sharding. Whether the amount of projectiles stays at six or is reduced is also determinable by damage.

just wanna point something out...

This would be more overpowered if you used it in Jelly King. Mainly due to the multiple slime's hmm?. Bye now.

It'd likely get nerfed because it's too good on JK yet fine on everything else like the Dark Retribution bomb was.

maybe it should have high

maybe it should have high charge time to compensate for the double blast(charge time should be a bit less then ISB)
