Assuming that even the Three Rings staff wants to lower down prices of CE, only way is to add more promos for the little knights of Spiral Knights.
Why?
Apparently I've been seeing alot of accessory lovers, and if people start to sell X for Y amount of Crowns, people will likely have to purchase CE if it's something such as Prismatic/Divine/Shadow/Volcanic (considering those are the most wanted by demand), in so will have to transfer their purchased CE into Crowns via Trade, therefore You, the staff of Three Rings make X amount of money for Y amount of accessories made
How does this help?
Currently I have a bid for Spirnkle Auras around at 3-5Million crowns, costing roughly 63k CE, costing around $150 USD. This example (of my love for accessories) can be an example of why I would strongly suggest more accessories to be added into this game for a better economy in the game.
My dumb ideas I thought I would love to be added in
Snipes (Taking the Helmet Top slot, most likely like how the Sniped Stranger Hat concept is with the Snipe)
Void Wings (reference to the Shadow Lair : Unknown Passage to such as the Swarm Seed's hot pink highlight effect applied on the Wings, taking maybe concept of the original Wings) (Taking the Armor Back slot)
Extra Long Feather (Taking the Helmet Back slot)
Horns (Taking either Helmet Top or Helmet Front; no idea what would be better for the best of everyone)
Mini Love Puppy (Taking the Helmet Top slot, looks like the Love Puppy Disguise, but only smaller + body on top of said cap/hat being applied on)
Everyone likes lower CE prices. Except pay-to-win fodder.
The accessory update for Spiral Knights is akin to the hat update for TF2. Interpret that as ye will.
Adding more accessories would mean more pay-to-win fodder, meaning more CE in the system; this is effectively diluting the CE inflation by adding more water to the acid. This would mean CE would become less valuable, but at the same time so would anything which uses energy. That means equipment would be less valuable. If there were an energy sink similar to when Vise came out, energy would be consumed and crowns would be proportionately more valuable and energy would be more scarce, meaning equipment values go up. Cosmetics would not be affected by an energy sink outside of pay-to-win fodder trying to reflood the market with energy, stabilizing the flow of energy to consumption.
Snipe related cosmetics would render this substantially less valuable.
We already have too many wings. None of them have a real animation. Flap flap, sit and do nothing; that is it.
We already have this.
See here.
We already have a temporary costume helmet and torso accessory for this.
