I'm going to go through hell for saying this.

The main focus on Spiral Knights months ago was focus on the randomized Arcade. As such, most playing should be done through this system instead of skipping levels to run through boss levels and the like.

Think about it. Mission rewards are only given to you once. What's the point of doing missions again when you have virtually no prize for doing so?

This suggestion leaves some guidelines, however.
-The Hall of Heroes can still be accessed as many times as possible.
-Boss-related missions can be played again and again, but every mission of this type will include all randomly-chosen levels associated to its current gate until the depth at which the boss levels actually begin. The Firestorm Citadel, for example, is played with all other Tier 3 depths in the mission, with determined stratum types, and areas randomly cycle.
-Tutorials and briefing missions can be played as many times as possible.
-All other Prestige missions become unplayable upon completion. To prevent abuse of simply returning to Haven after collecting money and materials from the mission and keeping everything you picked up, those collectables are lost if the mission is not completed.

I hope people take the time to read this suggestion through before they tear me limb from limb. It is only my opinion on how we fix the experience of the game for every level of player.

Me dear boy, I do agree with you wholeheartedly, but, you need to think like they do, Ask yourself," What can I do to make 3 Rings More money?"

This might offer some enlightenment.

Punishing people for using a feature which already exists and adding something negative to it would make people quit more than they already are. Making the Arcade more appealing with new content would bring people who quit back because there would be something new and interesting to do instead of grinding the same things all day every day.

Making money for Three Rings is not top priority. It may be a major contributing factor to have the chance of implementation, but to maintain balance between making Three Rings and the community happy does not mean to kiss up to the boss. I am going to briefly explain my mostly unused rubric below because it was based on maintaining this balance preemptively.

Effort: /10
Creativity: /10
Detail: /10
Mechanical applicability: /10
Profits Three Rings: /10

Effort is fairly obvious; thought, detail, information. You know what you are suggesting. You also put forth the effort to create the suggestion through all four of the below items to address.

Creativity also refers to originality. How original is this? Does it bring new stuff into the game or just more accessories? Are you just stealing content from other games or are you using your own creativity to apply new ideas? This one is often difficult because not everyone is creative and creativity is not like a hat to put on your noggin.

Detail is the specific gears and metalworks of the idea. Creativity has the gist of the idea, but detail sets the table and serves ham. Ham. Detail and effort are often hand in hand with large suggestions which contain information on the suggestion with decent competence of the subject. Effort is knowing the suggestion, detail is knowing the idea you are suggesting.

Mechanical applicability refers to how it would fit into the game. Anyone can suggest something absurd such as picking up enemies when they die and eating them to transform yourself into a helicopter, but would it work into the game? Programming issues also come into play here.

Profiting the boss. The idea may know what it says and serves the meal, but does the boss like ham? Does the idea only benefit the player while Three Rings suffers unnecessarily? Are you suggesting to remove the energy system because you are an idiot? Are you creating an expansion mission which would make more people buy the content to have more to do and have the information to suggest it?
