I know lots of people dislike the idea of missions. Hopefully, I have an idea that can suit the majority's opinions.
Steps to fixing the mission system:
-Keep every mission prior to Crossing the Chasm (Every mission until 1-4)
-Keep missions that help beginners in Haven (2-1 to 2-2, not including Skies Under Cradle, Scarlet Fortress, or Monstrous Research)
-Keep missions that talk about damage/monster types
-Keep special mission-exclusive areas (Silent Legion, The Gauntlet, Terminal Meltdown, and possibly others)
-Keep all "Contact" missions to better understand some information in the game
-Keep all Prestige Missions

In essence, I'm saying to remove all Clockwork-based levels. This will make Missions more of a startup or information center, then the new Arcade.
Thoughts? Opinions? Suggestions? Hate? Love?

Most of the missions in the mainstream series are meant to be fluff to delay players before they finish and are bored once again. They are also there for players who do not realize the Arcade has an immense variety of floors so they make you fight all the families.
