I could connect just fine for the recent update. How can I fix this? I uninstalled and reinstalled Spiral Knights, what do I do?

1st reinstall - took about 2
1st reinstall - took about 2 minutes
"Failed to connect to server" error, uninstalled
2nd reinstall - installation stalled at 30% -
2 hours until installation complete, refreshed screen
2nd reinstall (refreshed screen)
installation stopped at 70% - 64 hours until complete
2nd reinstall (refreshed again)
same as before, 10 hours until complete though
Cancelled, restored original Spiral Folder in recycling bin, reinstalling through the mini-window, same thing.
So, here's my question, why, would you put out another patch, the fire and ice one, when people are still having issues with the first one? (Party finder)

glitches
i was playing the game fine unstill it froze on the way to the soveriegn slie mission while i was on an elevator. so i logg off, then restarted my computer, then tried to get in again. i got in the game fine in the ready room, then when i click on the party finder to link me to an arcade run, it froze during the load to the party. i dont get whats going on. i was playing fine, what could have cused it to freeze. its 1:25 am eastern & canada time / the date is 6/29/2012 friday. this happened 5 minutes ago. i dont know how to fix this yet, som im unistalling the game to reinstall it. hope this works.
