I just noticed this, so it may have been brought up before.

There are trinkets for all defence types (except normal, which there were at some point) and all status resists EXCEPT STUN. Wtf is up with that? Being more of a collector nowadays than anything else, I would want to be able to get stun trinkets.

Well, sleeps way more

Well, sleeps way more dangerous! I mean who knows what could happen while napping. Hate to get hit by that Sleep Themed Lumber, and then have some Ninja Slimes sneak in and stun me on top of it!

Wait, that can't happen...

Honestly, all of the

Honestly, all of the defensive/status-resist trinkets could use a bit of a boost. Even when I'm wearing a particular 5-star variant, I can hardly tell the difference when I take that type of damage.

because it's not needed, i guess

The only things that can stun:

- Lumbers (too slow)
- statusless Greavers (nerfed a while back)
- statusless Zombies (too slow)
- Devilite Overtimers
- Gremlin Thwackers (easily predictable)
- Gremlin Knockers (only occasionally)
- Trojans (too slow)
- Giant Lichen Colonies' secondary attack
- Vanaduke (too slow)

Sleep, as far as we're concerned, doesn't exist anymore but I heard that back when it was around in the beta, it was a lot more annoying than stun.

"Because it's not needed" doesn't sound like a good enough reason, and just because the enemies you listed doesn't pose a threat to you doesn't mean it won't for everyone else. I never had a problem with stun nor have I ever even felt the need to use any of the trinkets provided by Brinks, but I see more than enough people wearing Stun Max sets (no, not just Skolvers in LD) for it to be a worthless status to resist.

It's just annoying that developers leave obvious things like this out, when there is no reason for it to be overlooked.

symmetry?

Each spark token leads to one damage defense trinket and two status defense trinkets. One of the statuses must be left out, unless they introduce two more statuses or break the symmetry.

Another "oversight" is that there are no stun-themed (or curse-, or sleep-) levels, whereas there are complete themed level sets for the other four statuses.

But back to OP, the point

But back to OP, the point was, why are there sleep trinkets and not stun? All this explains why there is no real need for stun. But there is even less need for sleep because monsters do not cause it anymore. So symmetry could be maintained by removing the sleep trinkets, and adding stun trinkets.

agree

Yes, obviously stun is more important to the game than sleep (currently). This seems to be one of those holdovers from beta. There are many vestigial parts to the game like this, that Three Rings hasn't gotten around to sprucing up. Let's hope they do. Cheers, all.

A stun trinket could be

A stun trinket could be useful, given the danger mission is graveyard themed and full or regular zombies.

Wouldn't help much though,

Wouldn't help much though, since the breath will constantly apply stun until you move out of it.

But the time you spent

But the time you spent stunned once you move out would reduce, yes?

Then I have a legit question

Is time reduced a percentage, or a flat amount?

I want to say percentage since it makes more sense but it's hard to tell with such low numbers.
