when Im in the clockworks, doing my business, I often get a message saying:
"outbid. ____ crowns refunded".
What if I dont have enough time to get to the AH before the auction ends?
If there was an AH button at the top of the screen (by party finder and missions buttons), I think it would be a very good improvement.

you can only see your bids in the AH button. you cant search for new items to bid. You can only bid on the items you were outbid on.
It is and should be your risk if you venture into the clockworks and have a chance at being outbid. As Artistbma said, this would only make Haven more useless, and thats the last thing we need.
That would make both the Arcade AND the Town Hall almost useless! Now there's only the Bazaar to trivialize!

we dont need more lazy ideas. -.- then everything would be done from ready room and no one would even go meet new knights in havens. only in haven 1 where people sell stuff.
I like how everyone is overdramatising this like it'll kill the actual Auction House or any reason to visit Haven. It won't. If you never visit the actual auction house then your interactions with it using this feature will be exactly zero.
The suggestion only calls for being able to track bids you've already made. It doesn't suggest being able to search out new items to bid on or to sell your own items which, you know, happen to be important elements of the AH too. In fact, I think it could be useful to integrate it into the notifications system. We don't need a permanent AH button. Just have to send a notification to the player when outbid with a chance to place another bid.
I don't think there would be a need to have this work in Haven or even the Ready Room though. You're not committed to anything there and should easily be able to trek over to the AH. However, I can see this as useful when in missions or the arcade gates, because essentially punishing players for actually playing the game through this method of being outbid while online but not in Haven is a strange design choice.
That'll ruin the purpose of even going to Haven even more! :D Wow! You just MADE MY DAY.
