Making the extra vertical vents animated to swivel and twitch akin to bunny ears would greatly enhance their appeal as an accessory.
It would add greatly to the accessory without changing the aesthetics as far as color matching, etc goes. It'd be quite a nice bonus for those who have the accessory installed on a helmet.
Oh that would really make them appealing! As They are now, They're not much appealing as They just seems like horns.
Extra vertical vents are literally chunks of metal welded onto your helmet.
And I'm pretty certain they aren't robotic in ANY sense.

I would agree with Wuvums, as thay are infact vents. And though perhaps not on all models but lets look at the volvanic and shadow variants for a moment....
Unlike other accessories dubbed "Volvanic" or "Shadow", especially so on the shadow (as they ate 1.5% to actually have gotten), there are no effects or appearance to them at all that would indicate them in any way special.
Every item with shadow or volcanic other than these either have a partical effect, or end in a glowing orange tip, or glow....they just simply stand out in one way or another and say "I AM A UNIQUE VARIANT! I AM UNIQUE, AND WORTH CROWNS, PURCHASE ME!"
But the extra vert vents...."Hey guys, my name is EVV, I'm a unique variant, but don't mind me; I don't like the attention. D:" There is just nothing that makes the unique variants look appealing or unique v.s. their other variants as compared to every other accessory option in SK.
So....shadow exhaust fuming out? Maybe. wouldnt be hard to recycle the wing effect in a smaller path.

Maybe i'm just speaking out the side of my face, but i feel that, tall as they are, the unique variants just seem, i dunno, lazy in presentation. Kinda effortless ya know? "Yeah just toss em in, they look like ears, people will buy this crap. Hey what's on the Tivo? Aww sweet, Sparticus!" ....just my thoughts.
a lopped ear version or a version where the ears are pointing back or to the sides or even one with one up and one down. why? why not, it would make them look better. that and we need a tail just saying little poofy tail.
Personally I am willing to try anything to make they more like Rabbit ears, for me they are more like a donkey ears at the moment, I also agree that the furry community has been well served by the accessory market. It would be nice to see someone a bit more Cyber, and perhaps arm and leg accessories... Perhaps we could have Feet as an accessory? I am always troubled by my lack of feet.
Totally digging the lop-earred idea. But at that point, Cream's ears would probably go great as some form of SEGA-related fun thing in the future.
