My character does not move in the direction you choose

Ubuntu 11.04 / latest Java / no SCIM istalled only IBUS

I tried to run the script that had been recommended but I did not understand much

I also edited this piece :

$JAVA $* -jar $INSTDIR/getdown-pro.jar $INSTDIR to:

XMODIFIERS=@im=none $JAVA $* -jar $INSTDIR/getdown-pro.jar $INSTDIR

Someone can help me ?

I had the same problem

Disabling ibus solved it for me.

Just install it using the web

Just install it using the web installer.
Don't download+install, just let the web installer do it for you.
I'm running 11.04 (still beta 2, haven't updated to final yet) and it runs pretty smoothly (WAY better than on my W$ partition)
