I was wanting to see how a Snarbie outfit would look with crown of summer/winter when i realized that i couldn't preview one on the AH. so it came to me that it would be (simi) awesome to have a room (or UI element) to preview accessories with any gear.
Once open you could select any armor, helm, weapon then add accessories to said gear to preview. This UI would have a printscreen (or camera) button that would give you a GUI free shot (this would be awesome for the wiki as well).
I'm aware of the preview from the AH. however, I cant preview items that are not on the AH, nor are all items up to even preview. The UI element for the preview is small and often has those arrows in them (really should be able to just move the mouse and drag the character side to side). Some weapons often fit outside of the AH preview window as well.
Having all the items available would drive some people to want to purchase (or craft) certain gear and find the accessory(s) they want/need. Getting people to want accessories is something I'm sure OOO wants.
I'd like to add, I want the ability to zoom in on this new UI as well. :)
You can preview just fine on the AH. The only problem, and one that's relevant, is that the item needs to actually be up on the AH for you to preview it. Otherwise, you can just preview the snarb hat, then preview the crown, and it'll put the crown on the snarb hat.
