I'm sick of hearing them complain so just give them this already:

Danger mode:
- Enemy defense, attack and speed is doubled
- Armor efficiency is halved
- No ASI/damage/CTR bonuses (or keep them, idk)
- No invincibility frames
- Double the rezzing costs
- Heat is lost upon dying
- UVs are ignored (not sure about this one either)
- Golden mobs can spawn
I'm not one of them so I'm not sure what they want, feel free to suggest more.

It could be a box that a player could tick before making a party, and it would be marked with a skull whenever you invite someone or someone wants to join.

There you have your hard game.

They sorta have golden mobs

They sorta have golden mobs on shadow lairs, the void turrets don't die, but they only shoot one bullet.

No double rezz costs. I don't want anything to mess up CE more than it already is <.<

No.

Buffing the enemy stat without adding some unique ability will make this game more bored.

This is difficulty, but it's artificial difficulty, and I don't know anyone who likes artificial difficulty.

Orangeo, that's a good idea... swap all existing turrets in a level for those hahahah. And the double rez cost would be for a greater penalty, though I see how that could influence the ce market... cr rev cost? xD

And Aplauses, adding an unique ability would be too much work, now wouldn't it? I tried to keep it simple to implement for OOO.

Draycos, they are complaining that the mobs are too weak, knights too strong, so they get the reverse. Almirian mission is real difficulty, yes. Combine it with this artificial difficulty...
Problem is, they got their real difficulty but still complain about the GENERAL difficulty of the game. Now you can't just spam silkwings and turrets everywhere, aye? So a toggleable mode would be best. More in-depth things like new mechanics and stuff would be way too much work.

Fake difficulty

A few past threads to make the game more difficult for veterans ended with puzzle based floors and enemies for T4+ which rely on tactically outsmarting them rather than smash punch die.

C'mon even if you give all beasts super attack and defense, you know they wont hit you. They'll just take longer to die.
On the other hand, you do that to fiends and frustation is guaranteed.

So yeah, we need something else, or at least balance the current situation.

I find the only enemies that

I find the only enemies that you really have to outsmart right now are Devilites, Almirian Crusaders, and Giant Lichen Colonies, which are harder than the Royal Jelly or Ice Queen. Seriously. :I

Devilites will punish you if you try to walk into a group and blindly swing away. With Almirian Crusaders, you have to wait for your opportunity to attack, else you get a face and stomach full of lance. And with Giant Lichens, you have to read the telegraphs properly or you're getting stabbed all over. Out of all of those, Almirian Crusaders are the most challenging because they will actually shield and just about ANY gun bullet. I've had to resort to giving them a voltedge charge to the face as soon as they spawn as the safest way of killing them.

Give us actual difficulty, not artificial difficulty which will just make it the same stuff for just longer. Even Shadow lairs have some real difficulty because the mix of crowds, tight spaces, and traps makes it truly more challenging than a normal level. Although, Rabid Snarby and Ice Queen are boringly easy. Legion of Almire in the last depth is harder than those. >.>

I'd rather fight three Giant Lichen Colonies than three Greavers, seeing as they're total pushovers. How is you fighting style, considering you seem to find them difficult?

Okay so they should make a danger mission
with devilites
and silkwings
and greavers
and howlitzers
and kats
ALL OVER.

LoA ++

LoA's respawning silkwings ticked me off, and required me to learn their timing.
Kats need a smarter version of the Grimalkin. Dreadnaught + Kat = OMFGNERFTHIS$U(#)@%@
Greavers need a boss for crap's sake.
Howlitzers are easy, you need a fleet of unreachable rocket pups, by unreachable I mean sun shards can't reach unreachable.
We need more of the miniboss trolljans to appear. Like what Arkus (think it's his name) became.

Also, I loathe the reskinned flourishes in LoA... they just make my clone hatred increase.

I'd prefer it if they just balanced out monster difficulty progression (through teirs) so that t2 was a slightly easier t3 and t3 didn't have so many worthless monsters. Seriously, it's kinda weird that kats have such a jump in difficulty from t2 to t3, towers from t1 to t2, lumbers from t2 to t3.. etc.

Also, putting a tower out of RSS range, I think, puts you out of it's sight. Just make them respawn instantly, that's worked before. OR they could reintroduce golden monsters and stop beating around the bush.

I wonder if the pros are actually pros, or just rich noobs (with credit cards) who can afford to triple roll UV's. Probably the latter.

Unlike most mmos.... Sk

Unlike most mmos.... Sk actually forces you to play at a certain skill level in order to pass anything beyond T2.

A full-size giant lichen colony is impossible to interrupt, no matter what. They aren't necessarily hard to beat, but they're harder than most enemies. I just run in with a brandish charge between its attacks, let loose, retreat, and repeat. Either that or I use a Biohazard.

For greavers, just take a toothpick and shield cancel the first swing. They're the easiest enemy in the game for me.
