Can anyone ID this Gremlin, and why it spawned from a monster cage? And has this happened to anyone else?
Yea, I once found a devilite in a monster box during snarby, I could'nt get a screenie because it was near explosive boxes and that killed it :(

At @OP I have a screenshot of a Devilite spawning from a monster box, so there is some variety.

Do you have a patch note to verify this? If not, then the chance is still there.
No one has found one anymore and we know devs have already made lost of stealth changes so searching for documentation wont prove much.
Evidence goes both ways anyways, do you have proof to prove Duke wrong?
He can't say I'm spreading false information if there's no proof that my information is false. I can assume they still drop, since I don't have proof on my side, just like he can only ASSUME they don't drop, since he doesn't have proof on his side. It's just one whole gray area.
Neither side has proof that it goes one way or the other. Leave it at that.

The perfect idea for an ambush! Hide in a monster cage, where people think a Gun Puppy is... tank the elemental damage and kill the knights!

No, I clearly meant slooms. I've spawned a soul jelly recently so I had no doubt about those.
So yes, I was wrong. Thank you for at least showing me with some form of proof. That is all. Still weird to find a gremlin in a cage.
There was this thread back in Wiki Editors about weird things going on with Cages. There's also a strangely mixed up monster, pictures linked in the OP- a regular mecha knight with a volt knight's sword.
Yeah I found devilite there once too. We both /derp when it threw a disk at us...expecting a bite.

Emberlighters are kidnapping Grems, Constructs and fiends due to their Alliegance.
Regular Grems kidnap beasts for hunting for poaching or food.
Undeads, Fear of their power(or what's left of it)......
OP, you cannot into a tenderfoot scorcher? I thought you were one of the beta players, or around for a really long time, at least.
I've been around for a while, it's just this is one of the last things I expected to happen ._.
It's a Tenderfoot Gremlin Scorcher. And monster cages can reveal just about ANY monster, including slooms.
