My idea is an item that could change the IGN of the character it's used on.
It would probably be available to buy in the shop, but not for energy or crowns.
If you did change it, maybe a letter could go out to your friends/guildmates letting them know you changed it.

You can send a support
You can send a support request to a GM asking for a name change. If they deem your reasoning worthy enough, they'll change it free of charge.

I'm with you on this one, my IGN is the result of me failing to notice that we can't put numbers in our knight's name, and since then my IGN makes no sense and looks really dumb.
