AH crash

First, my apologies if this topic has already been discussed/resolved, but the forum's search function doesn't seem to work at the moment.

As far as the bug goes, it's fairly simple. My game client crashes anytime I try to access the "by category" filter of the AH. The other two filters ("Featured" and "By recipe") work just fine and my client does not crash in missions, haven or any other activity.

When the client crashes, I recieve the standard windows pop-up saying "Java(TM) Platform SE binary stoped working." Game client was downloaded and ran from Steam.

Other than that, I don't know what else to add. Please let me know if there's any other piece of information you need. Or if the topic was already discussed/solved, I'd appreciate a link to said thread. Thanks in advance.

All tested. Doesn't look like

All tested. Doesn't look like the issue lies in my laptop. I was able to access the AH just fine. The issue started happening around the latest patch, though I assumed it would be hotfixed already.

Anything that would give you "Java(TM) Platform SE binary stopped working" is something with your laptop.

Do this:

Ok, reinstalled the game,

Ok, reinstalled the game, reinstalled steam. Checked for updates on java, none, reinstalled just to be sure. The launcher file doesn't seem to log anything odd, which is expected since I can login and play just fine. Still, the problem persists. Is there perhaps some sort of crash log I could look into so we can get a better grasp at what is failing?

Edit: And yeap, there definetly is a crash log. It goes as follows:

I'm getting the exact same

I'm getting the exact same error and error log file, is there any way to fix this?
I re-installed java, the game, Steam, drivers, everything is up to date... and the game client only crashes when selecting "by category" or when changing instances, everything else works fine (missions, inventory, all other menus)
Java works fine on other applications, and SK worked fine until the last update (heart of ice update).
