Compound 42 - My feedback

Ok well first, I love the level design for floor 1. (P.S. I played Tier 2)
omgosh I went AFK to write this and then I got attacked by a slime D:
I really like how they look though. :3 but why do they automatically become on fire when there is no source of fire? Unless it's from the turrents :O
The dark fire also seems to be acting up. It's glitching like....the black smokey marks on the ground are appearing then disappearing depending on where you stand.
eww and the smokey fog makes it hard to see! (I'm sure that was your intention)
It does seem quite difficult. It gives you hardly any chance to heal because of the poison and then the inevitable gremlins spitting fire everywhere does not make it any easier. Though I do think you should keep making them 'harder' because it is a danger mission. It's supposed to be hard. Though, this mission does seem to be quite hard already.
I think it's a bit unfair that you get poison by standing on the oil. At first it didn't really make sense to me. Maybe if the oil came out green? To indicate poison?
And there seems to be too much going on at the same time. It becomes even worse for me (I live in Aus) and Lagging becomes really horrible.
If I was not on the test server with like infinite energy to revive myself, I would not even make it through the first level. And in saying that, it's too hard.
P.S. Seeing that much treasure boxes at one time made me feel like I was in heaven. Though I do know that that is not the finalised amount.

That was not the Oiler Baron, hate to break it to ya. Oiler Baron has much more swag. And the mission can't pay more than 3-4k, even after it's rebalanced, because the mission itself only take 20e to do. It has the same amount of boxes at the end as LoA, and that mission's payout is now fair balanced, so I imagine they're looking to reach about that amount with this mission as well.

I wonder how many Danger Missions will be coming out.. we NEED these to cycle ; - ;
It is just PURELY amazing how new content feels when you've never encountered it. I feel like back in the old days of Spiral Knights when I was newbie. This is where skills are tested and may I say I was very happy of how I handled myself there. I am indeed a veteran general-geared knight(this was tier 2 for me also). I'm proud of myself for mastering Chaos Cloak, I went to hell and died without regrets ♥
Nothing should change for terms of adding nerfs. This is where teamwork is required(not needed but recommended). This level is very dangerous and I would not recommend this to just any veteran knight. So how are we going to take those toxliargo oilers in those small arena trap rooms with those turrets? DAT SLUDGE, INGENIOUS THREE RINGS <3
It's nearly 70% guaranteed that you will take damage when killing those oilers from the sludge they leave behind if you're in close range of them. Anyone have any ideas? The sludge is faster than shielding. And if we do use range with guns or bombs, they'll shoot us with their needles. INGENIOUS.
One simple way to make this level set a WHOLE lot easier and manageable would be if the respawners all had their timers toned down AND if the turrets couldn't respawn the toxic oilers, or if their respawns allowed per minute were lowered to 1 per 2 minutes.
The reward isn't worth it, though. It should be a mission that pays at least 5-8K for tier 3 just because of the difficulty factor, even if they do slightly nerf the spawn times.
And the fact that we get to fight an oiler baron (or what I think was one) made me smile so wide, though a Dark retribution can take it down in about 3 seconds (even while the user is poisoned).
