We all know the game lockdown. How we stab each other with flourishes and spam with polarises. Howerver, part of the game has been unbalanced.
What's causing this unbalance? Trinkets. Plenty of people use trinkets in lockdown. If it's either ASI or a penta hear, this is unbalancing lockdown. Now, there is no risk of the striker. It has a health decrease for a reason. All these classes have strenghts and weaknesses, but now its whoever has trinkets dominates everybody! You knights who use trinkets in lockdown will say," This is just because you don't have enough to get trinkets!" While I don't have trinkets, I can tell you that it feels one-sided. I have to keep running around and hack my sword just so I can kill a trinket user! If you trinket users didn't use trinkets for a few games, you will see how unbalanced and unfair it is. Games are meant to be a challenge. It'll be fun if both teams are even. This isn't the case. Trinket users have no weaknesses now(not counting skill) and can do whatever they. If you think you're so skilled(although, there are still plenty people who are without trinkets) try having a few lockdown games with no trinkets, and see for yourself. How you can't do anything because you can't react to ppls ASI's or the fact that you can't defend a point because the other players have too much health.

I guess neither of you played lockdown while the temporary immunity was gone; when all the weapons, such as cutters and autoguns, were unleashed.
Most people have given up hope that the devs will ever balance lockdown.
We really can't solve the problem here since the rich will ALWAYS have the advantage(and you can only counter it with skill). Correct me if I'm wrong
But we can minimize it by allowing...
Strikers - 1 heart trinket slot only allowed
Recons and Guardians allows 2 heart trinket slot allowed
I can't really argue about the UVs stuff... I find the health what makes the difference between life and death. (Again, correct me if I'm wrong)

I've played the non-invincible mercy killing Lockdown, and it was quite fun while it lasted. Sure, some people don't like it, but some do. I can't judge which is better.

If ye're talking about balancing Lockdown, that's wrong. It is already balanced. Just only that the heart trinkets that the developers decided to make it able to craft, did the unfair job. The rich players and even some of those who had it just at the bad timing wanting to sell, are raging at this issue, but now we never heard of it again.

If the rich can solve the problem, does it means the poor can't? Out there if ye didn't notice or ask, some of the F2P players work hard to get into the 'perfection', as I also did the same. I don't want to force or anything, just stating that we also did the hard work those days too, struggling. But it is different now because it is now much harder and more harder.
OP stated that Lockdown is unbalanced because of ridicilous uses of ASI UVs on a weapon and their heart trinkets.
So he suggests that OOO should rebalance Lockdown.
ASI UVs? Pshaw, those are nothin'. Shock UVs are what's really unbalanced, improve Shock so it still affects them. If you wanna walk through my VT, you better get yourself some Mercurial!
But seriously, what we need is those invinciframes gone... and Guardians given some damage reduction, to weaken the effect of a bunch of blows at once on their poor cardboard shield. I'd like to be able to bomb with a smile on my face instead of "cheers to being stabbed to death by Shocked Skolvers because my own teamful of dummy Striker Zombies all left me at Base 2 on my own".
Many people have suggested many times in the past something like this, and for a good reason. However, I don't think disabling Trinket Slots is the answer, cause if you buy them you should be able to use them. Also, there's no reason why a guardian should not be allowed a lot of health, since it's his job to tank damage for teammates.
Nerfing the striker class' health would work much better, as -3 hp means almost nothing in T3, especially when you have two trinkets giving you 12 extra hp. It works for the lower tiers cause they have less health. Something like -8 would be more appropriate.
Also, like Doctor said, the invincibility frames gotta go. To put it simply, if 5 people hit one person at the same time, the victim will only take damage from one person, which is wrong on many levels. If you land the hit they should take damage, it's not rocket science. Also, it messes up the vast majority of weapons in the game so they cannot function like they are supposed to.
Lockdown is far from balanced right now, but not impossible to fix.
If we reduce first attack area for Flourish series and Snarble Barb series. I think improved a bit.

Ye. Shh. Go get a Vog Cub coat and a Skolver Cap with a Final Flourish and it will do it. Promise me ye don't complain to us about trinkets and ASI again. Otherwise, don't play Lockdown. I've been playing without trinkets and only using 2 weapon slots, and probably can deal around 4k~14k and average 8k damage.
Also, the concept is about capture and get points. >.<
