Ok first off before you have an opinion whether negative or positive, remember this is a suggestion.
*And FYI please don't turn this into a console war fanboy thing please

Anyways, spiral knights which is developed by three rings is published by SEGA. SEGA is a great company for a game to be published by. Now, yes I'm aware that this is kind of an MMO game, where it is heavily reliant on parties.

But hear me out, there is already a similar game out there that is on the Nintendo consoles. Have any of you heard of Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles? Its a great game that is VERY similar to spiral knights. Also some of the game mechanics remind of Legend of Zelda: Four Swords.

gameplay of crystal chronicles: http://youtu.be/G6UE8_exiqc (available only on Nintendo DS and Wii)
gameplay of four swords: http://youtu.be/Clldgm-QyKM (available only on Nintendo DS - 3DS and Gamecube)

I think this game can easily be ported into XBLA, PSN, and Nintendo as a console game with a campaign. DLC expansion packs can be made such as the Operation Crimson Hammer for this game on the console.

1. It's always updating. Hence, probably always going to change.
2. Energy payments...
3. Must be connected to Internet at all times. How we do that? (Look, I only own a Wii, but is there always Internet on PS/Xbox games?)

@heavy

1: console games can update.
2: microtransactions.
3: if you have Wi-fi for your computer, you have internet for your console.

@OP
-You can't put free stuff on XBLA.

~EDITED because heavy edited -.-

Honk

It would be better if they made more national servers first.

ouya + dungeon defenders example)

saw a topic somewhere that they should make this game for iOS and other mobile devices.

Spiral knights should definitely expand into that as well. (dungeon defenders - another steam game - is also available for iOS and XBLA and the such)

Wii U is the most logical platform, because of the tablet. The Wii U's online capabilities are supposed to be. better than the original Wii
