Easy Way To Make Money & Have Fun At The Same Time

I think that professions would be a good addition to Spiral Knights. Having a money making system for all player would draw people in and give them something to do when there mist is low instead of them logging out because they want a free game. I think everyone should be able to pick Two professions for their charecter that is free or uses little credits, as a player myself i see the ups and the downs of this game and know that i myself get bored and things like Mining,Blacksmith,Jeweler...etc (professions) would draw me in not as just a player but maybe even a paying member of Spiral Knights......I think that New Players would enjoy this. Please Consider this coming from a player like myself.

Professions

We get materials, crowns, heat, and sometimes equipment from the Clockworks. We get energy either from our free mist tank which has a maximum amount which may be held at a time, though it always regenerates over time, or from Three Rings by buying it with money or buying it from someone who did. We already have an equipment crafting system for smithing, we already gather minerals for miner, we already have accessories for jeweler, et cetera; it would not be compatible with what we already have.

If you want crafting professions I recommend Dofus.

Here Ya Go :))

Shadownox these professions would give us money coming in from looting stuff directly off of monsters to make things or make things for other people and get paid for doing it ,it would be like a auto money flow right into your pocket, but it is really aimed at the players that dont wanna spend money on a game that they may not play long or dont like or it could bring in more players....

I heard you like making money

So you want to make money off of making money to make money from making money.

"Luguiru I understand where you are coming from but what if we did it are self and gathered ing. ourselfs for quests and what about people who dont wanna put money into a game that they are bored and just wanna waste time on??"

This translates to:

"Instead of playing the game or using the energy system, we should turn Spiral Knights into a Facebook game."

No.

"Shadownox these professions would give us money coming in from looting stuff directly off of monsters to make things or make things for other people and get paid for doing it ,it would be like a auto money flow right into your pocket, but it is really aimed at the players that dont wanna spend money on a game that they may not play long or dont like or it could bring in more players...."

This translates to:

"When we get money from enemies in the Clockworks, professions would give us even more money. That way people who do not contribute to funding to the developers and people who do not like the game but are playing it anyway will make more money with less effort."

No. That would cause inconceivable inflation and would support the kind of player who only plays because they are bored. Go do Facebook-whatever-happy-land. The point of MMO games is to work for your own rewards, not to have the game do everything for you.

What?

I am going to say this: you aren't really explaining much. I'm not going to go into the grammar issue, (though that is an issue) but you need to say more things like: what kinds of professions? How would the interface work? Would there be an interface for this? Would it cost anything? (If so, how much?) Being a little more descriptive can help a lot.

Profession

Here's the professions of Spiral Knights

-Beggar
-Merchant
-Lockdown God
-Guy Who Idles Around In Haven
-Guy Who Stalks Auction House
-Guy Who Stands Around Awkwardly
-Guy Who Organizes Events
-Guy Who Quits After 10 Minutes

....is that all?

I'm a merchant \o/ I can turn 10kcr into 16kce, 600kcr, an Arcane Halo, and a Sprinkle Aura! (Give me 4 months to do that.)

tl;dr we don't need professions. We've got 'em already; they're just not blatantly out there.

@koi and @lug

What about the annoying grinder with every accessory and personal color in pink who idles around the auction house awkwardly while waiting for LD games, organizing events, and begging, who also roleplays as an NPC in the Clockworks that likes eating toilet-shaped marshmallows?

Sweet candied cantaloupes

That does not exist.

If that were to ever exist I would personally find them and urinate in their ears. Both ears. While singing this.
