Mercurial set is pertty much useless at the moment, despite the fact that it is the only non-SL-armor unavailable in the Hall of Heroes. Its Movement Speed Increase: Low per piece is non-existent. Acording to the Wiki, MSI Low increases movement speed by 4%, that's 8% for the whole set. The only other armor providing the same bonus, Mercurial Demo set, provides also a BDB med, making it superior in every way.

I suggest the MSI on Mercurial set would be increased to med per piece, as should the 4 star version, Charged Quicksilver set get the MSI low per piece. In addition, there should be either a Quicksilver Shield that could be crafted into Charged Quicksilver Shiled that would yield a MSI low which in return could be crafted into a Mercurial Shield with MSI med; or MSI trinkets (cough http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node/60148 cough).

These additions would make The Mercurial set a decent choice of armor, alongside the weapon-specific armours.

Mercurial set is part of a

Mercurial set is part of a token line, Token lines are not acquirable from HOH. *for a silly reason you CAN acquire the 4* Recipes from a mission vendor*

but yes, I completely agree that the Mercurial needs more love. Maybe even just a pox ASI low per armour piece could be useful/nice

+!

I agree with buffing Mercurial w/ VH MSI, however trinkets won't be very good.

Well the reason the set has med total is because they thought it would be too OP and Nick himself said that too much MSI would make it Broken.
However I agree that The set needs a buff but not like this.

Well

Well, the With the fact that Quicksilver DOES have EXACTLY the same defenses as Normal Jelly armor, and sleep resis from jelly is useless and stun resis from jelly also almost useless, and shock resistance being soo much more useful than both of those, they need to buff Jelly armor first.

Well, The thing is, that the quicksilver set is the ONLY Boss token armor set, (other than ancient plate, but you cant craft ancient plate into anything else as its already 5*) You could say that it is probably the hardest armor set to get recipes of.

But, skolver is generally a more widely used Piercing defense set, and it does have a more useful buff than MSI, but yeaaahh for an allrounder that wants better Piercing defense, Quicksilver is the way. however, this set does have limited uses. It probably is only useful in Shock Jelly clockwork tunnels or a Shocking Synthesis lichenous lair.

I'd buff the jelly set first.

I'd buff the jelly set first. The mercurial set is basicaly jelly armor that's better. It's not quite in line with ice queen mail (jelly with a max ice UV), but that's SL armor I guess.

As opposed to just buffing the set, I'd buff the value of movement speed increase. Nick was right for not setting it too high, but it's been tested.

I don't want sheilds that grant MSI. Then if I go into LD, my movement is all thrown off. I could understand a quicksilver shield, but give it ASI. Also, we need an ice queen shield.
