Is it worth getting a Flourish/BTB ASI "Very High" as opposed to just "High" in regards to Lockdown?

Along with this, what about the other piercing swords, IE Rigadoon, Flamberge? I know they don't do as much damage as FF or BTB, but has anyone tried using a Rigadoon for LD? Just curious as to your opinions.

It depends on the class and

It depends on the class and armour you are using. As a striker, you have a med asi on your sword. So to get max, you'll need either vog, trinkets, or a vh uv'd weapon. Having a asi vh sword allows you to use skolver and heart pendants as opposed to skolver+asi trinket or vog+damage trinkets.

A rigadoon should be fairly effective in ld actually. I'm not sure how much damage it does compared to btb/ff in ld, but the stun is pretty amazing in 1v1 situations. I think the main reason people don't use it more is because of the low proc rate, 1/16 iirc.

I know this belongs in the bazaar subforum, but the question is sort of related to the OP's topic. What's the price jump between asi high and VH for flourish lines?

Haha, I think it's a 20k ce difference from High to Very High. It all depends who's selling, y'know? I just got a Flourish ASI High today for 6.5k (super cheap, I'd say) and the guy I bought from told me it was a 20k ce difference.

I *thought* that the reason people didn't use Rigadoons was because it doesn't do as much damage as FF/BTB. If it did do as much damage, then obviously Rigadoon would be more effective. So there has to be a reason why most Striker's don't use Rigadoon, right?

Mostly being that if you are

Mostly being that if you are trading blows with a similar geared player, it will probably take less than 16 hits to bring either of you down. So you are relying on a proc that may or may not happen in order to kill someone. In the meantime, the other player will have taken more health from you.
