For the past 4 days I've been experiencing this problem: I log on to the title screen and it immediately says "failed to connect to server". This problem was in steam. I even tried making another account online without steam and it worked fine. I was able to make another account, but then after 30 minutes or so the problem came up again, "failed to connect to server" I'm sure my internet connection is fine, I've tried system restore (if there was a virus), tried changing firewall settings, reinstalling the game, reinstalling steam, but the problem is still there. I'm pretty sure this isn't a server issue, maybe something wrong with my service provider or my computer...

I've unplugged my modem and
I've unplugged my modem and router already. It seems like my internet connection is fine. I am able to go on the internet like facebook, google, yahoo, etc. But it seems like it wont connect to the server. I've made Spiral Knight account online, without steam, and it works. But for some reason it wont allow me to connect in my steam account. I will try reinstalling steam, that might be the problem.

Out of curiosity...
Are you in the United States? If you're from outside the U.S., Steam in other countries sometimes has serious connection issues.
Steam in general sometimes has serious connection issues, and they usually get resolved after a while and can reoccur for no reason.
Did you verify the Spiral Knights game cache? If that didn't help, check your firewall settings to make sure SK and Steam traffic has the proper exceptions.
try resetting your modem and router.
