Yesterday, when I was playing Spiral Knights, I got an idea. I thought that
how nice would it be if we have vehicles in the game. By vehicles, I did not think of cars and bikes, but hoverboards. Hoverboards would look like
a skateboard without wheels. A hoverboard would have the ability to fly. Any knight could buy it. As a starter, everyone will get a hoverboard which would be a wooden plank. But a knight can by other types of hoverboards from the Haven Bazaar. He/She could choose the hoverboards of hi/her style,he/she could choose its colour. The knights can't use it in missions, lockdown, or blast network but only in Haven. What say?

whats the point? the haven has only like what? 3 rooms (if you include arcade) why in the world would we need a hover board? it takes most ppl less than a minute to go from the bazzar to the arcade, we dont need it to be any faster than that. whats next? tell the mods to make a robot to do all of ur missions for you? how lazy can you get?

@OP: Noty, they may SOUND cool as a visual upgrade, but you will undoubtedly get bored at their total uselessness. Even visually, what would they do? You'd just stand on them and...hover places...
It's not faster (I don't think they SHOULD make it faster), it doesn't have any other effects, and depending on it's appearance, it would look totally ridiculous with some armours, i.e if it was small, it would look silly on a bigger armour.
W/e. You'd get tired of them even if it was implemented.

If its only going to be used in the haven, what's the point. I don't mean any disrespect, but if they could be used for other special reasons, like a pvp racing game, then that could definitely make me interested in buying one :)

This sounds like the most pointless idea ever.
If it were a boost that could be used elsewhere, sure, I could see the point. As it is... it's a cosmetic thing that is going to do nothing other than cause lag and look weird. I would rather have the devs spend time on new content/rebalancing weapons/fixing stun/adding Radiant Silverhelm.

Now seriously. What would the point be? You can only use it in haven, and I already get faster through the areas than the game loads them sometimes. It's absolutely pointless. Why would I want to have an item that enhances my speed in the smallest area in the game, disappears in the clockworks/lockdown(thus NO cosmetical use outside of haven) and thus has absolutely no parctical or esthetical use other than satisfying a terribly childish player that wants hoverboards?
