Starting today I've been completely unable to preview items. Clicking the button doesn't do anything. It seems to TRY and bring up a window, because it makes it impossible to type or do anything else until I hit escape or right click, but nothing shows up, my gear doesn't change, etc.
I tried restarting steam, my computer, and then completely reinstalling spiral knights. Nothing seems to have made a difference.
I'm running Windows 7 64-bit and playing through steam.
...Okay, it seems to be some kind of bug with my character itself - people cannot inspect me. I had a few try it and they all said no window comes up.
I think i'm having the same issue as you. I can't preview anything in the market, or in recipes. But i can inspect other people and see my own character. Not sure about other people inspecting me, i'll try and check that out. But yeah, i've seen several other people in game who have the same problem as well. I'm not sure what's going on.
Having the same issue, market/recipe & some people's gear cant preview/inspect
Me and couple of my guildmates checked and we aren't able to preview items or inspect players since yesterday's patch, also in my case trying to prewiev item broke something and I couldn't write in chat anymore.
tried re-installing spiral knights to see if anything happene. and no. still unable to see previews in market or recipes. And some people can inspect me while others can't. not sure whats up.
Did you all update SK?
Nick posted release notes from today's patch that said they fixed a bug with preview. If it STILL isn't fixed, that's no bueno...
Well, they said they fixed INSPECT, not PREVIEW
Tried other things... I can inspect other players, and I can look at my own little gear box thing, but the 'preview' button itself isn't doing anything, so I'm basically unable to try on gear for the immediate future. Rather annoying.
