...been stuck with this download for quite a few hours now and have been reading posts to see if any of the GMs or admins are responding yet i havent seen one say anything the past 24 hours. What is the point in having a technical issue thread post if nobody is going to read and reply? At least a "Hey we are looking into it." would be quite helpful.
Do the GMs and admins actually read these posts?

Not enough people are having this problem. If every one else can access the game then it has to be client sided.

Internet connections are really tricky. Just ONE setting has to change and a game can fall apart.
Go through the stickied thread at the top of this forum and double check that your internet and firewall settings are correct; an update to your computer or router firmware might have changed them without you knowing.
