Welcome friends to the Secret Temple of Shard-Jutsu, soon to be burned down by OOO for no good reasons.

With the time I have left I wish to share my bombing arts with everyone.

I originally developed shard-jutsu as a direct counter to the skolver clone menace. I have had good days and bad days with it but over all I feel that the RSS Striker has been a complete success in terms of general effectiveness. The trick was to exploit the predictable behavior of sword strikers as well as flexible attack options.

Its not the best for raw damage or capping but it is an amazing staler/annoyance build. Especially since many strikers tend to ignore capping and go for damage exclusively.

These were some of my better matches. My average damage score tends to be around 10K and my record is 18K. I would love to see if anyone else could push the potential of this playstyle farther but I have never seen anyone else play like this.

Alas this will soon be a lost art. I want to show everyone what OOO is really taking away with the upcoming RSS changes. No other bomb has the speed and low profile to allow for Shard-Jutsu. I could use nitronome as a primary striker bomb but it will not be as fun or as effective.

First of all, good job. However, I think you are living in a different timezone than the majority of LD players.

Currently there are 5 people that broke your 18k damage according to my knowledge.

I didn't have the pleasure to record my matches or any others', but I have screen shots of me doing 20~24k rss damage.

I never said I was the top scoring RSS guy. If you read my post I said "It is not the best damage or capping build".

I wish people would think dramatic presentation <> boasting.

I was describing a unique playstyle and my results with it. I have never actually seen another> RSS STRIKER<. When I said "play like this" I meant the specific "drop RSS and boost dodge" maneuvers. Every other RSS player I have seen is using a normal bombing pattern.

Let me actually try recon based RSS more often before posting scores.

I wasnt much trying to set damage records as much as I wanted to "win" duels with attacking opponents even if this meant I would not be scoring as many hits per match. Mad bomber with only 15 HP? Not a good build for sustained dps but fun for playing mind games with opponents. >:D

I wanted to be more like a scientist posting a research report rather that an athlete contacting the world record commitee.
